Maybe it is because I’m an unapologetic romantic with a deep respect for history and tradition, but I have always valued the role of the House of Lords.

At its best, it represents wisdom and common sense — qualities that are sometimes lacking in the Commons, where MPs sadly can display idiocy and arrogance.

One classic case of the Upper House’s prudence prevailing happened during Tony Blair’s New Labour government.

Peers thwarted its misguided plans to ban live music in pubs, to impose a bureaucratic regulation on Church choirs and to legalise sex in public lavatories.

The Lords also prevented Labour ministers changing the law to restrict defendants’ right to elect to be tried by a jury, and stood up for the ancient tradition of Habeas Corpus to stop police being able to detain terrorism suspects without charge for up to 42 days.

That said, something has gone hideously wrong with the House of Lords in recent years.

The latest confrontation over Brexit is merely the latest in a long line of abuses by the second chamber of its constitutional role.

Above all, the Lords — a bloated chamber of around 800 people — contains too many small-minded, venal and frankly second-rate individuals. Worse, some of these duffers are blatantly corrupt.

Without doubt, there are also too many time-servers, cronies, sycophants, party hacks and people who have paid huge sums to win their appointment. A few even, I believe, ought to be in jail.

And now, this House of Horrors has grotesquely over-reached itself by defeating the Government 14 times over Brexit.

And look at the kind of people who are among these Brexit-wreckers. Baroness Uddin voted against the Government in all those divisions. Yet this sometime Labour ‘community activist’ ennobled by Blair is notorious for having fiddled her expenses.

She avoided criminal charges even though she was suspended from the Lords and the Labour Party for a record 18 months after fraudulently abusing her Parliamentary second home allowance.

Affront

To my mind, this disqualified her from ever sitting on the red benches again — but she remains in place, claiming a £300 daily allowance and defying the will of 17.4 million people who voted for Brexit.

Of course, peers have the right to counsel governments over what they consider to be ill-judged legislation. But their behaviour over Brexit is not only an affront to democracy, but to basic decency.

The Mail’s opinion poll findings — that 76 per cent of people believe peers are ‘out of touch with the will of the British people’ — should act as a wake-up call to the Lords.

For they prove beyond doubt that the British people have lost faith in the Upper House.

Reform of the Lords must now be an urgent priority.

There has been much talk of how this could be achieved: cutting the numbers, reducing the disproportionately large amount of Lib Dems, trimming the daily attendance allowance and so on.

For her part, I believe Theresa May made an error when she halted plans put forward by her predecessor, David Cameron, to reform the Upper House. Following a series of Tory Government defeats on key policies, such as cuts to tax credits, it had been recommended that peers should lose their power of veto over laws.

I understand why Mrs May pulled the plug on these reforms: she was determined to avoid a time-consuming confrontation because she wanted to focus on securing Brexit. How ironic, then, that Brexit has been recklessly endangered by a hostile and unreformed House of Lords.

The PM should have anticipated this, because the Upper House is overwhelmingly Europhile. It was always likely an unholy cross-party alliance of unelected saboteurs would put up every obstacle it could.

It is impossible to over-emphasise the gravity of the situation in which the Lords — constituted as it currently is — is bringing British democracy into disrepute.

To borrow a phrase often used by President Trump about the Washington political establishment, the time has come to ‘drain the swamp’.

Shocking

One section that must be drained immediately is that of the 98 Lib Dem peers. They make up some 12.5 per cent of the total — despite having less than 2 per cent of seats in the Commons. This is a shocking political imbalance considering the Lib Dems are a party of die-hard Remainers devoted to the fight against Brexit.

But we must be very careful how the Lords is reformed. I emphatically disagree with one option — an elected upper chamber, as is now being called for by the Labour Party.

Inevitably, such a body would claim an enhanced democratic legitimacy that would damage the status of MPs who are elected under a system which means they are each accountable to a specific (geographical) group of voters in their constituencies.

Personally, I believe we should have a House of Lords that is wholly appointed. Crucially, it would be able to continue its vital function of giving advice to the Commons, but unable to block or interfere unduly with the actions of a democratically elected government.

The challenge should be to fill the Lords with people who have considerable experience of the real world — something hugely lacking in the current breed of identikit career politicians who know little of life beyond Westminster.

What the Upper House desperately needs is figures of gravitas and stature, with the skills and wisdom to guide the country through Brexit and bring their judgment to all the great moral and social challenges facing Britain. Such people should come from every walk of life, every profession, all backgrounds and from every part of the country.

Successful business people, farmers, artists, civil servants, engineers, scientists and trade unionists would all be there.

Each one should be chosen by their respective profession’s representative bodies. This ought to guarantee that no second-rater ever again is able to find themselves a Westminster retirement home at taxpayers’ expense.

Bishops should be allowed to remain, though there should be fewer than the current 26. Alongside them should be rabbis, imams, Buddhists and Hindu priests.

This brings me to the question of how many people should be in the Lords. It’s absurd that there are some 800 members, making it the second-largest parliamentary chamber in the world after China’s National People’s Congress.

I suggest this number should be halved, with an upper limit of 400. What’s more, I also believe peers should stand down within ten years.

Reform

More controversially — and without turning it into a geriatric chamber — I believe it should include no one under the age of 60.

My reason for thinking this is that one of the problems with our Parliament is that we have an excess of young MPs who do not have sufficient experience of the working world and of life outside the narrow confines of politics. A newly shaped Lords would redress that.

Above all, they would have no mandate to block key legislation, particularly any that’s been backed by the majority of the population in a referendum, as peers are doing so disgracefully over Brexit.

Crucially, too, such reform of the House of Lords would fit in perfectly with Mrs May’s philosophy when she became prime minister two years ago.

She promised to strive for a country that worked ‘not for a privileged few, but for every one of us’.

There is no time to lose.

OH, HOW they must be laughing their socks off in Brussels. Why, they chortle, should we bother opposing the UK's exit from the EU, when the country's own unelected political Establishment is doing so brilliantly for us?

On Tuesday night, in one of the greatest constitutional scandals of the post war years, Remainer peers inflicted their 14th successive defeat on the Government's Brexit legislation, seemingly blissfully unaware that they are cutting their throats with a public who are utterly repelled by their

 TREACHERY and ARROGANCE.

But then, when they have jobs for life, accountable to

NOBODY

is it any surprise that they are so smugly convinced they know better than the 'little people' they despise?

Indeed, these unelected cronies, dodgy party donors, superannuated political hacks and washed-up

BRUSSELS STOOGES

threaten to plunge this country into a democratic crisis that could destroy every last vestige of voters faith in the way we are governed.

Even among Remain voters, increasing numbers are appalled by the way the Upper House  is overstepping its powers in its efforts to sabotage

Brexit

and render the referendum meaningless.

And make no mistake

Though most Remainer peers may peddle the monstrous fiction that they are merely performing their duties as a revising chamber, their true aim is nothing less than to

OVERTURN THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE

as expressed by the voters in

JUNE 2016.

 

For the record, that referendum was authorised by a

SOVEREIGN ACT OF PARLIAMENT

[AS in 1975 - when the Remainers won their day]

passed by a majority of six to one in the Commons ,with politicians on both sides of the argument agreeing

THAT THE RESULT WOULD BE BINDING.

on a turnout of

72 per cent

Parliament then made  the decision to trigger

 Article 50

starting the two-year countdown to

BREXIT

this time by

498 votes to 114 in the Commons.

In short, the Remoaner peer's pretence that they are defending the constitution is just a cynical sham. On the Contrary they risk smashing the constitution to smithereens.

Look no further than those 14 amendments they have passed so far. These are no mere tweaks to the Government's legislation, in line with the Lords' role of ironing out anomalies and improving wording of ambiguous clauses. They are bare naked attempts to sabotage the Bill - and with it, BREXIT itself

Take the vote to rule out a 'no-deal' withdrawal, and so ban negotiators from walking away from the table no matter how lousy the terms the EU may choose to offer.

Not only would this rob of us of the most powerful card in our hand, while removing any incentive for Brussels to make concessions. It could also postpone Brexit indefinitely - which is precisely what the blinkered and besotted Europhiles want.

Indeed, Cobra beer tycoon Lord Bilimoria gave the ugly game away when he blurted out ten days ago: 'It is Parliament, thanks to this amendment, that will have the ability to stop the train crash that is Brexit.'

Then there are the amendments aimed at keeping us shackled to the customs union and the single market-the later passed by a majority of 29 on Tuesday night. Though  you wouldn't know it from the BBC's coverage, both represent shattering assaults on the

VERDICT OF THE ELECTORATE.

How Jean-Claude Juncker and his chief negotiator Michel Barnier must marvel at the stupidity of our ruling class as it weakens Britain's negotiators, betrays our exporters and relentlessly talks our country down.

With egregious arrogance , Remoaners seek to justify their conduct by saying voters were too stupid or ill-informed to understand Brexit's complexities. Others preposterously claim there is no contradiction between honouring the referendum result and remaining in the customs union and single market..

Yet as the Europhiles are fully aware, both sides in the referendum campaign spelt out repeatedly and emphatically that

WITHDRAWING FROM THE EU WOULD MEAN LEAVING ITS TWO PRINCIPLE INSTITUTIONS.

Indeed, voters went to the ballot box with their eyes and ears wide open. And despite the deafening hysteria of

PROJECT FEAR

the majority determined to take back control of our

BORDERS-TRADE-LAWS-MONEY

-none of which will be possible if these wrecking amendments are allowed to reach the

STATUTE BOOK.

The biggest irony of all is that the Europhile peers who now posture as Champions of Parliamentary sovereignty are the very people who gave away Parliament's rights for more than

cheerfully subjugating

WESTMINSTER TO BRUSSELS.

So who are they, these few hundred wreckers who believe their views carry more weight that those of

A load of unholy cobblers: When QUENTIN LETTS like all Church volunteers was forced to attend an abuse prevention course he entered a chilling world where everyone is assumed to be evil

Last Saturday, when there was no shortage of lawn-mowing to be done, I was obliged to spend four hours with a former detective. If that sounds alarming, it was, though not for the reason you might suppose.

The retired female cop, who in the name of Christian discretion we will call Wendy, was the ‘safeguarding officer’ of our local diocese of the Church of England. Her creed? ‘I assume nothing,’ she said. ‘I believe no one. I tend to suspect the worst in people.’

As deputy churchwarden and a member of our village’s parochial church council, or PCC (a group of about 15 volunteers), I had been ordered to undergo Wendy’s C1 Learning and Development Framework Safeguarding Core Module.

Apologies for the jargon. I am afraid there is going to be rather a lot of that. And this from an Anglican hierarchy that has largely abandoned Thomas Cranmer’s Book of Common Prayer because ‘no one understands it any more’.

For the next four hours, my fellow church volunteers, one aged 100 and one a septuagenarian Austrian countess, and I were battered and splattered by gibberish. It was like standing in front of some muckspreader loaded with stinking bureaucrat-ese.

The thrust of Wendy’s message was that there could be a pederast behind every churchyard yew tree. Just as station Tannoys command us to ‘see it, say it, sorted’ and report any suspect package, Wendy told us to be alert to all forms of abuse — sexual, inter-marital, even abuse of vulnerable churchgoers by over-zealous preachers — throughout our communities.

‘Listen, hear, pass it on. But don’t ever go into the judgment bit,’ intoned Wendy.

If we heard neighbours squabbling at night, children with bruises or a church member taking a lot of photos on his mobile, we should sidle up to the authorities and submit a report. We should not ourselves reach any conclusion, mind you. We must allow ‘the experts to carry out an investigation’.

The Stasi secret police in communist East Germany used to get citizens to snoop on their neighbours. Now this message is being pushed by the Church of England.

Past archbishops have been known for their emphasis on liturgical novelty or inspiring church music or even, Heaven help us, promoting Christian values. Yet Archbishop Welby — for, I am sure, the best of motives — has put his trust in a belt-and-garters approach to spotting wrong ’uns.

So it was on Saturday that, after introducing ourselves like attendees at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting (actually, most of us already knew one another), we were given leaflets about safeguarding strategy and action plans, a diocesan working group, independent safeguarding audits and about the team (modern clerics love the word ‘team’) of ‘expert safeguarding professionals’ at Church House, in London.

There was a list of safeguarding policy and practice guidance, publications such as ‘Responding to Domestic Abuse’ and ‘Responding Well to those who have been Sexually Abused’.

We were urged to mug up on ‘managing safeguarding concerns or allegations against church officers’ and forcefully told we should ‘formally adopt national safeguarding policy and practice guidelines on a yearly basis and display a safeguarding policy statement in a prominent place’ at our place of worship.
 

Look closely enough at the notice board outside your parish church and you may spot it: alongside the yellowing advert for last year’s bring-and-buy there will be your church’s mandatory small print about how it’s on the lookout for kiddy-fiddlers.

Let’s hope the wind doesn’t rip it away, or the church’s insurance policy may be rendered invalid.

On Wendy’s course it was drummed into us that the Church’s main insurance company will pay out on claims only if PCCs have followed the national safeguarding policy and practice guidelines, as enforced by the Safeguarding and Clergy Discipline Measure 2016.

The lawyers and their friends in modern officialdom (and the insurance business) have plainly got the system royally gummed-up.

The modern Church hierarchy may not be much good at inspiring worshippers, it may have a banjo-Billy tin ear for hymns and it may have presided over a catastrophic slump in churchgoing, but when it comes to making sure volunteers darn well do as they’re told and ensuring that a fortune is spent on bureaucrats who are paid much more than vicars and organists, it is horribly efficient.

Had I refused to attend this course, I would have been sacked, insofar as any volunteer can be sacked. I would have been told that, under recent laws which sailed through Parliament with minimal debate, I could no longer be a church ‘officer’. That term applies not only to clergy and professional employees of the Church, but also to lay volunteers.

There are some 12,500 parishes in England and each has a PCC. The Church could not say, but there are probably about 180,000 PCC members in the country, all unpaid, most of them (except for me) kindly, positive-minded, patient people.

As Wendy churned through her litany of modern sex-crime tendencies and extreme instances of abuse by churchgoers, some of my fellow attendees started to twitch.

OK, one or two seemed prepared to become unpaid snoopers for the professionalised nanny state, squealing on neighbours who were unkind to their wives or who left their children alone at home when they went to the pub or to work.

But others, in the politest way, started to bridle. The Austrian countess told me afterwards, rather perplexed: ‘I thought the English believed in minding their own business.’

Wendy said we should never let volunteers (such as flower arrangers) work alone in the church. If unaccompanied, she said, they could lay themselves open to false allegations. Visitors might invent some story that a volunteer had abused them.

And that would lead to the police swooping in and arresting Mrs Boggins! ‘Gotcha, sunshine, you’re coming to the nick,’ says PC Plod.

‘Oh dear, Constable,’ says Mrs Boggins, ‘do you mind if I just put this sprig of gypsophila in the oasis before we are taken to the high-security unit for suspected sex offenders?’

Have the Justin Welbys of this world ever run the volunteer side of a church? If so, they might know it is far from easy to find enough souls to cover the basics, let alone to ‘double up on your rotas, guys’, as Wendy instructed us.

Until recently, the only risk- assessing we did was trying to calculate if our little church would go bust in the next few months. Most of the money we raise (about £8,000 a year from collections, fetes, etc) goes to the diocese, to pay for the Church hierarchy.

Here is the same Church spending millions on safeguarding jobsworths who tell us to report suspect activity and thus create more work for their self-perpetuating bureaucracy.

As a mere lay person, I am no authority on morality, but I’d call that wicked.

How can a Church built on faith allow one of its representatives to boast, as Wendy did, ‘I believe no one and I suspect the worst in people’ and to tell us to keep our eyes perpetually peeled for ‘Mr Nasty’?

Wendy spoke approvingly of a possibility that the Church will soon tell priests no longer to do solo home visits, such as when they give Communion to the dying or offer spiritual consolation.

She wanted such visits to be accompanied to prevent accusations of rape or theft being made against a priest.

The ancient rite of the confessional may soon be trumped by the demands of today’s managerialists. That is appalling.

Unless, that is, the decent, push-us-only-so-far PCC members — the backbone of Anglican England — go on strike. Without its volunteers, the Church of England would close in a week. We PCC members maintain the buildings, organs, pews, graveyards.

We spread the word, find the organists and raise the funds. Yet now we are being told to waste our spare free time attending almost meaningless safeguarding courses, just to tick bureaucratic boxes.

I know several PCC members in our diocese, including a churchwarden who is a pillar of the county, who intend to quit rather than succumb to any safeguarding course. ‘The bishop can get stuffed,’ I have been told.

Wendy is demanding that I soon surrender to another course, and then repeat the whole exercise in three years’ time.

I love our church. Despite a wobbly faith, I have a desire to serve our parish. But if I have to listen to church representatives spouting the doctrine of politically correct, self-enriching bureaucrats, I’m not sure being a PCC member will be worth the altar candle.

When did you first start using drugs?’ I asked the man sitting in front of me.

He thought for a moment. ‘About two years ago,’ he said.

I looked down at his notes. ‘About the same time you went to prison?’ I asked. He nodded.

‘I first tried heroin in prison,’ he said. ‘I got hooked. I started to do a lot of crack in there, too. And cocaine.’

‘But hang on,’ I interrupted. ‘You were in prison.’

The man laughed at my naivety. ‘It’s easier to score drugs in prison than it is outside, mate.’

This conversation, which took place a few years ago, was with my first patient in the drugs clinic I had started working at. The clinic was near a large prison and, on release, every convict with a history of substance abuse was sent to me. This man was the first of many I saw who not only used drugs while in prison, but became an addict there.

In fact, during the time I worked in that clinic, I saw more people who had become addicts while serving time than those who had been addicts beforehand. 

Drugs are now so rife in prisons that, according to a Royal College of Nursing report this week, staff have required hospital treatment for accidentally inhaling fumes from spice — the so-called ‘zombie drug’, a form of synthetic cannabis — while treating inmates.

For today’s inmates, it seems, prison is an opportunity to sit, stoned off your face, watching TV while someone else does your cooking for you. It’s a holiday camp with drugs. And that’s not my view — but what patients have told me time and time again.

As one said, prison is not a deterrent; it’s a nice break from the realities of life.

Probably one of the most shocking things I heard was from one young man, not more than about 20, who said he’d rather be in prison because the drugs he could get inside were better quality than the stuff being sold on the streets.

I can’t be alone in thinking this is utter madness. How can it be that our prisons are now places where it’s easier to break the law than it is outside? What kind of warped message is this giving to those we lock up? Isn’t this the very antithesis of what prison should be about?

It would be easy to blame the wardens, but it’s not their fault. Many have spoken to me about their frustration at what they see. Health care staff tell of the utter futility of trying to implement change because they are not supported from above.

This is one of the reasons prison staff retention is so poor — people come with the idea that a prison is a place of rehabilitation, but soon realise it’s little more than a holding pen. Staff leave in droves, meaning that many prisons are understaffed, which further perpetuates the problem.

One nurse who worked in a prison told me that staff know all too well who is bringing in drugs, and how.

He said dealers would sometimes throw dead pigeons stuffed with drugs over the prison walls to be collected by inmates and their contents distributed.

Mobile phones are everywhere, he explained, so co-ordinating this kind of activity is easy. There have even been cases of drones dropping off supplies.

Wardens see it all, but are powerless — there aren’t the staff numbers to quell the aggravation caused when they try to clamp down. Nor is there the political will to stamp out the problem.

But let’s be honest — it’s not that difficult to stamp out. If airports can prevent people smuggling drugs onto flights, then surely a prison can do the same.

But in order to put in place effective mechanisms to stop the torrent of drugs flooding into prisons, the Government has to decide that this is a priority.

HM Prison and Probation service needs to make a firm commitment that it is going to clamp down on drugs in prisons and do so with immediate effect. Otherwise we are making a mockery of the justice system.

Prison shouldn’t simply be a punishment. It should provide an opportunity for people to reflect on their crimes and to make positive changes in their lives.

What it most certainly shouldn’t be is a place which turns people into drug addicts. 
 
 

A shortage of nurses, it was estimated this week, is costing the NHS £2.4 billion a year. That’s money that could be spent on patient care and treatments, rather than being poured down the drain paying exorbitant agency fees. But, for once, the solution is easy.

First, Brexit provides a wonderful opportunity to recruit nurses from outside the European Union. Once we have control of our borders again, we can decide who to allow into the country. And top of my list would be nurses.

Get them to commit to a minimum of five years’ work in the NHS in exchange for being allowed in.

Second, it’s important we nurture our own, home-grown nurses. Last year, fees were introduced for nursing degrees and grants were scrapped. This has seen a significant drop in applications.

Of course, no one becomes a nurse because of money, but it’s criminal that nursing students are graduating with vast debts. We need to send a clear message to those who want to train to be nurses that we value their vocation.

Scrap the fees and reinstate grants. Now.
 
 

Blair's to blame for hospital shop rip-offs

What a disgrace. WH Smith has been selling 80p toothpaste for £8 in a hospital shop. Although the retailer has since said it was a pricing error, and has donated the money made from the sales to a charity, exploitation of the sick is nothing new.

In a hospital where I worked that had a similarly eye-wateringly overpriced WH Smith, nursing staff would often pop out to the supermarket on their lunch break to get basic necessities, such as toiletries, for patients.

Why do hospitals allow this to happen? This is a legacy of Tony Blair and — with the introduction of Foundation Hospitals in the early 2000s — the insistence that hospitals become profit-generating businesses.

There are only so many ways a hospital can actually make money and most have hit upon two things: car parking and renting out the space in the foyer to corporations.

It’s the latter that explains why the entrance to many hospitals now resemble shopping malls.

The casualty in this has been the much-loved League of Friends shops, usually staffed by volunteers, who wanted to give something back, often as a thank-you to the hospital who helped them.

Every time I pay £2.50 for a coffee in hospital, I think of the League of Friends who not only charged 20p but would throw in a biscuit, too.
 
 

The way to end abuse 

I’ve been spat at, punched, kicked, sworn at, had knives pulled on me and twice been held hostage during my career as a doctor. Sadly, my experiences are far from unique. There’s no doubt that those on the frontline of the NHS bear the brunt of some atrocious behaviour.

 

Things are so bad that this week, at the Royal College of Nursing congress, it was suggested that NHS staff should be fitted with body cameras in an attempt to keep them safe.

While attacking members of staff is unforgivable, the more pressing issue is not the staff abused by patients, but rather patients abused by staff behind closed doors.

I’m thinking of the elderly, the mentally ill or those with learning disabilities — the most vulnerable members of society — who are on the receiving end of horrific abuse and neglect, particularly in care homes.

The vast majority of abuse cases that come to light do so because families have placed a camera in their relative’s room. We should now start installing this as routine. In fact, if we could put them in every room, abuse would stop practically over night.

We’d weed out the perpetrators and allow those who really care to get on with their jobs.

Yes, it’s awful that we even need to consider action like this, but sadly, as so many scandals have shown, it’s crucial that we do.
 
 

Don't tell patients to 'fight' cancer  

Macmillan, the cancer charity, has warned against telling patients to ‘fight’ cancer, saying that talking about the disease in terms of a battle leaves sufferers feeling guilty for admitting fear and often prevents them from planning for their death.

Having worked on a cancer ward where I witnessed this for myself, I couldn’t agree more.

I saw how the idea of ‘fighting’ cancer made some people feel a failure when their condition became terminal.

It’s easy to see why. The words we use to describe cancer are the words of war. The cells ‘invade’ and we ‘fight back’. We have an ‘arsenal’ of treatments to ‘defeat’ it. Cancer is the ‘enemy’.

Why do we talk about cancer in this way? Because it offers us a false reassurance that the disease is something we can fight against. By using words such as ‘fight’ and ‘win’, we suggest the patient is responsible for their own recovery when, in reality, the success of cancer treatment relies on drugs, radiotherapy or surgery, not willpower.

It’s also a great deal down to luck — at what stage it was caught, whether it has spread, what organs are affected and so on.

And it’s this arbitrary nature of the disease that makes us profoundly scared. By using active words suggestive of a war, things seem less random. But the flip side is that it implies that, when someone doesn’t win the battle, they are to blame.

Even if we never say this outright, it’s often how those with cancer feel. You should have fought harder; you were not a good enough opponent. This isn’t true. Sometimes cancer is terminal and that’s no one’s fault, certainly not the patient’s.

In May 1940, the Reich Association for Economic Planning issued a document containing the statement mentioned on page 209: 'A continental European economy under German leadership must... comprise all the peoples of the Continent from Gibraltar to the Urals and from the North Cape to the island of Cyprus...[but] on foreign-political grounds it appears to be necessary to designate this not as a German extended-area economy, but fundamentally always to speak of a European Economic Community' ['Europaisches Wirtschaftsgemeinshaft']

Chapter 10, Volume Two of Hitler's 'Mein Kampf' was entitled' FEDERALISM AS A MASK'. Careful analysis of the typically 'roundabout' language still employed by covert Pan-Germans, the heirs of Nazi International, today are revealed that this 'line' is the essence of Germany's hegemony ideology. In other words there has never been any discontinuity of Pan-German strategy up to, through and since the Nazi were in power in Berlin.

Note the explicit geographical description of the scope and boundaries of the intended 'German extended-area economy': 'Europe from the Atlantic to the Urals'. Within this 'Thousand-Year-Reich', the sovereignty of the captive nations will have been destroyed, in line with Lenin's pronouncement that' we set ourselves the ultimate aim of destroying the state'- with one critical exception: Germany itself is to survive as Greater Germany, but under a different name. Hence, there was and is to be one rule (state survival) for the Germans, and another (state destruction) for all other captive European peoples.  The European Union has developed exactly in accordance with the blueprint elaborated by the Nazis in the 1940s.

To ensure the realisation of their deception strategy, it is clear that the continuing Pan-German planners have in practice, so to speak 'bolted the framework' of their strategy onto the revolutionary structures of the Leninist Communists. While the heirs of the Nazis have cunningly elaborated and perfected over the years their own version of diplomatic and propaganda double-talk comparable to a form of Leninist Aesopianism, as elaborated by Stresemann and Adenauer, they have made spectacular progress with the fulfilment of the Nazis International's plans hatched at the German Geopolitical Centre, that they no longer bother to disguise them. But the Pan Germans, reckless and ruthless as always, are running huge risks-because they are dealing in bad faith with both the continuing Soviet Leninists and with the confused West European Socialist Governments.

The fact that the continuing Pan-German strategists are secretly using 'federalism as a mask', as Hitler proclaimed in 'Mein Kampf', and are agitating day and night for regional federalism and for the full collectivisation of residual sovereignty throughout the European Union, while seeking to disguise that this prescription will never apply to Greater Germany itself, alone justifies this book's finding that the

EUROPEAN UNION COLLECTIVE

is indeed

THE ENEMY OF ITS MEMBER STATES.

That the EU is likewise responding to the parallel pressures from the continuing Leninists for 'universal European integration', means the EU membership is truly a 'kiss of death' for those countries that have been led by their misguided elites into this terminal trap-from where their demoralised citizens mare condemned to watching their countries being tortured, raped and beaten to death under the relentless pressures of the frenzied and accelerating 'coup d'etat by installments'.

Driven by the insane logic of Lenin's idolatrous World Revolution-which preaches 'change' to WHAT?', and which presupposes total collectivisation for the whole of humanity-the covert Communists, who are currently following Lenin's deception instruction that, for the time being, 'under no circumstances {is it our task} to promote Communist views', insist that the only acceptable' prescription for Europe (by which they mean Eurasia) must be 'universal European integration'. Lenin taught the revolutionaries to be meticulous with the use of words (a trick acquired also by Pan-Germans). Thus the key-word here is 'universal- which precludes any question of boundary imitations.  For the Leninists claim that, because they are 'Europeans' and control the political space eastwards to the pacific Ocean, 'universal European integration' means 'Europe from the Atlantic to Vladivostok' , which they also refer to as 'Great Europe', and which must be 'guaranteed' by the Comintern's long-planned system of 'collective security', centred on Moscow. In other words, there has never been  any true discontinuity of Soviet strategy since the 1920s, and especially since the 'changes' of 1989-91-which represented a Leninist, rather than a genuine, 'Break with the Past'.

For the time being, it suits the interests of the 'General Staff' of Lenin's World Revolution, for the European Union Collective-or the 'new European Soviet' ,as Gobachev has accurately described it-to devote its seething revolutionary energies to the maximisation of federalism and collectivisation within its inexplicably eastwards-expanding 'boundaries'. But despite bilateral treaties, the trilateral nexus with France, a complex bilateral and multilateral treaty network drafted by the Leninist apparat ['rats'] to ensure 100% European compliance with the Soviets' 'Europe from Atlantic to Vladivostok' model, the continuing Leninist strategists know that the Germans are using European federalism 'as a mask' for the final realisation of their own previously thwarted idolatrous geopolitical ambitions.

While each side is engaged in strategic deception directed in part against each other, and in both cases against naive socialist Europeans, both expect their model alone shall prevail.  The chess-playing Soviets took the precaution to ensure, by means of a threatening military posture [See page 237] which appears to have been largely overlooked, that only their prescription can ever be applied.  They also left a time bomb lying in the Czech Republic.  Additionally, to procure the intended 'Soviet' outcome, the Revolution has taken the necessary precautions, co-ordinated by Vladimir Putin and the Soviet Military Intelligence while Putin was serving in East Germany [Previous home of Frau Merkel], to ensure that Germany's political and bureaucratic structures have been extensively penetrated and taken over by covert and 'former' Communists from the east.  The likelihood is that the Pan-Germans, having compromised as in the past with Communists, and driven by their 'leaning towards Russia', will misinterpret the Leninists' intentions as they approach the realisation of their long-frustrated ambition to subsume Germany in its 'transitional format', with

by another name. They will overplay their hand.

 Europe cannot look to France for any hope of rescue or salvation, since Paris is enmeshed in its insidious trilateral nexus with Germany and Russia - certain that its treaty relationship with Germany can only be to its advantage, and bound to be covert Leninist revolutionaries by the terms of its bilateral treaty of 7th February 1992, under the terms of which France has become an agent for Lenin's World Revolution.  The smaller European powers are hobbled by the ideologies who control policy; and even in Portugal and Ireland, where the adverse economic consequences of their rash participation in the Economic and Monetary Collective's straightjacket are becoming daily more apparent, no serious official thought is being given to the logical step which will need to be taken if severe economic consequences are to be avoided. Ironically, though, the eccentric President of the European Commission, Signor Prodi, is on record as having mused that Italy might have to leave the collective regime, even though this is not permitted under the Collective Treaty.

Only the United Kingdom, which since the beginning of the 1970s has been systematically betrayed by its successive governments, led by the 'Conservatives', has, among the EU 'Member States' of world substance, contrived, though incompetence and fumbling, to hold back a little from the revolutionary onslaught. The slim chances of Britain escaping national annihilation were diminishing at an ever accelerating pace as this book was being finalised.  For instance, on 6th February n2002, the European 'Parliament' approved the European Arrest Warrant [See page xxxiii] and blocked the habeas corpus safeguard established by the English Common Law since the 13th century, as a means of preventing over-zealous or corrupt magistrates from incarcerating EU citizens from another EU country sine die in their own jails, or in those of a third EU country.  This appalling retrograde decision means that Britons, with effect from 2004, will be at risk of being arbitrarily arrested for crimes which are not recognised in English Law, such as racism or xenophobia. The definition of 'terrorism' was extended to cover 'passive' support for prescribed groups ( the list of which can be extended, of course, to include critics of the revolutionary EU collectivist dictatorship), and the legislation will enable a judge or a prosecuting magistrate anywhere in the EU Collective to order the extradition of a British citizen on the basis of suspicion alone without any need for a dossier of evidence to be presented.

 

Thus the shape of 'The Beast' is emerging before our eyes, from behind the hideous edifice of Europe's Tower of Babal. Diabolically, it has the imprimatur of the captive nation states whose blind political elites have fallen into this Nazi-Soviet trap. For the EU is indeed

A year from today, at 11pm on Friday, March 29, the United Kingdom will leave the European Union. 

In doing so, we will reach the end of a process that began in the summer of 2016 with the single biggest democratic mandate this country has ever seen.

Of course there were many who, at the time, wanted to see a different outcome. I know there are still some who would be happier if the referendum were to be rerun or the result ignored.

But as I travel around the country, talking to ordinary people far from the Westminster bubble, one thing quickly becomes very clear.

There have been countless hours of negotiations between the UK and Brussels.

I've travelled across Europe, meeting with national and EU leaders to discuss the way ahead, while Cabinet ministers have spearheaded negotiations in their areas of responsibility.

This enormous effort is already paying off. Just look at the recent agreement on the implementation period. 

Some said reaching such a consensus was an impossible task, yet we've done exactly that, securing an arrangement that delivers for the UK and which was warmly welcomed by leaders at last week's EU Council.

The agreement on the implementation period shows what can be achieved when we come together as a nation and focus on the future. 

I have an ambitious vision for that future. It's a future in which we trade freely with friends and partners in Europe and beyond and build on the progress we've made as a country over the past few years.

The economy is growing more strongly than many predicted, the deficit is down by three-quarters, employment is at a record high.

It is our job to secure a Brexit that not only locks in that economic success, but makes our country even more prosperous and secure.

And, by seizing the opportunities provided by Brexit, that is exactly what we are going to do. 

Today, I'm travelling to all four nations of the UK, visiting businesses and talking to people about how – together – we can deliver a Brexit that works for every part of our precious union.

I am determined that as we leave the EU, and in the years ahead, we will strengthen the bonds that unite us, because ours is the world's most successful union.

We have one year to get Britain ready to leave the EU, 365 days in which to shape the legacy we will leave to our children and grandchildren.

If we put aside our differences and all pull in the same direction we can deliver a Brexit that works for everyone. That's what people of this country demanded. And that is what we must give them.

Britain pays retirees the worst state pension of any country in the developed world, analysis has found.

The basic payout of £122.30 a week is the least generous in the West – worth just 29 per cent of average earnings – and last night former pensions minister Ros Altmann warned the situation could get even worse.

Government projections suggest that for those now under 30 the age when they can claim a state pension will have to be raised to 70, while future payments could be cut even further to avoid needing massive hikes in national insurance, Baroness Altmann said.

The league table revealing Britain's pension shame was compiled by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), which analyses the world's industrialised nations. 

Out of all the countries compared, Britain comes bottom – even behind poorer nations such as Chile, Poland and Mexico.

While the UK's state pension is worth just 29 per cent of average earnings, in France the equivalent figure is 74.5 per cent. 

Germany's state pension is worth 50.5 per cent of average earnings, while in the USA it is 49.1 per cent. 

The most generous state pension in the world is in the Netherlands, where the payments are slightly higher than average earnings.

Baroness Altmann warned that despite a recent overhaul to the pension system, payments will need to be cut further to avoid massive tax rises in future to pay for it. 

She said: 'We are one of the world's leading economies, but our support for the oldest in society is not fit for purpose.

'In April 2016, major reforms to the UK state pension were supposed to have made the system affordable for the future, reducing its generosity. Beyond the 2030s, the new state pension will be lower than the old system for most people and the lowest paid, predominantly women, will lose significantly from the new system.

'Despite this, the Government has been advised that the costs of paying state pensions will soar so much over the next 20 years and beyond that further cuts could be required.'

From later this year the state pension age for women will rise from 63 to match men at 65, and will reach 66 for both by 2020.

The Government's economic forecasters, the Actuary's Department, believes it will become 70 in the 2050s and 71 in the 2060s.

This would mean that anyone aged 30 or below now will not get their state pension until they are 70, while those under 20 will have to wait until they are 71.

Baroness Altmann added: 'The Government actuary believes that just funding the UK's exceptionally low state pension will require reducing payments in future or dramatic tax rises. Policymakers face difficult decisions and are also likely to need to increase the state pension age further.'

The former pensions minister called on the Government to do more to address the crisis, including making private pensions more attractive so that more people are willing to pay a portion of their wages into their own fund.

'To avoid burdening younger generations with significant tax rises, it is vital that more is done to boost private pension saving,' she added. 'Auto-enrolment is a good start, but the pensions industry needs to attract more customers to pay more into their pensions.'

The shocking figure means that 2.5 million older people limit their heating costs in this way.

QUENTIN LETTS: I fear Mrs May has no idea how angry Brexiteers are about this customs fudge

And still they fight, still they kick, gripping the bannister and screaming that no, no, no they are NOT going to go to school, are NOT going to eat their vegetables, are NOT going to bed.

Those of us who have been parents of young children know how it plays out, this sort of thing. They bite us, thump us on the chest, tell us they hate us and that we have ruined their lives.

We keep calm and quietly detach their pink little fingers from whatever anchor they have grasped.

Eventually — though with still much silent sobbing — they do what we have asked them to do because, in the end, there is no alternative. We are bigger. We are stronger.

Shackle

 

This time, their front-person was Business Secretary Greg Clark, little-known to the public, but one of the Establishment’s more mellifluous schmoozers. Mr Clark, once a member of the SDP, is a determined Remainer.

On Sunday morning, with the approval of Downing Street, he appeared on television to re-ignite ‘Project Fear’ and predict thousands of job losses unless we subscribe to a version of the customs union after we have nominally left the European Union.

Within minutes, he was supported publicly by the usual suspects: the pro-EU Confederation of British Industry and the British Chambers of Commerce, former Home Secretary Amber Rudd, MPs Anna Soubry and Nicky Morgan, the George Soros-financed Best For Britain lobby, etc., all jumping to the EU’s tune. But please don’t suggest it was co-ordinated.

Mr Clark himself is a piffling figure. Let us not waste time by examining him, save to note that it is strange for a business minister to be such a plodder. Business fortunes are made by embracing opportunity and change, yet this Business Secretary possesses all the verve of a Fiat Punto driver pfaffing along in the middle lane of a motorway at 60mph.

More concerning is the fact that such an ardent Europhile was chosen to be the voice of Theresa May’s Government at such a sensitive time, and that he felt so comfortable spouting a line on the customs union that is so at odds with both last week’s decision by the inner Brexit Cabinet to reject it and with the political realities facing Mrs May.

If they persist, they will bring about her destruction. The longer they continue to ignore this reality, the more her Eurosceptic colleagues will conclude that the benefits of getting rid of her could outweigh the dangers.

Greg Clark was supporting the idea — attributed to Mrs May’s senior Brexit adviser, a civil servant called Oliver Robbins — known as customs partnership.

This would force post-Brexit Britain to continue to collect import duties on behalf of the EU. It would be horrendously bureaucratic and would deter companies from doing business in an independent Britain.

The plan is opposed sharply by a large number of Tory MPs. They see it as both unworkable and unprincipled, because it would kill Brexit. (No wonder Labour goes along with the idea — for the time being. Jeremy Corbyn’s lot would love it because the Tories would get the blame for obstructing the democratic result of the June 2016 referendum.)

If Tory MPs did not know before last week that customs partnership would be fatal to their party’s future, they must know now.

Last Thursday’s local elections showed that Brexit remains a powerful vote-winner. Ukip voters migrated en bloc to the Tories because they see them as more Brexit-friendly than Labour.

And yet the Prime Minister, while publicly reiterating her determination to leave the single market and the customs union, is prevaricating in private. She allows her Downing Street team, who for the main part were Remain supporters, to continue with their crazy appeasement of Brussels with this customs partnership proposal.

While it may be pointless to plead with politicians on policy grounds, we can surely agree that the one thing they really understand is personal self-interest. So from that vantage point, let us ‘wargame’ Mrs May’s options.

If she goes for the Robbins/Clark idea of a customs partnership, she would need to force one of her key Cabinet colleagues to change their mind.

The two ministers thought to be vulnerable to persuasion are Home Secretary Sajid Javid and Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson. But both men fancy their chances as future Tory leaders. 

 

Slaughted

 

 

If they did cave in to Mrs May’s pleas to re-think their position on customs partnership, they could immediately forget any dreams of being leader. The Tory Party in the country would never vote for such a person.

Even if Mrs May did manage to ‘fix’ the Cabinet committee to rethink its position on customs partnership, she would have to contend with her backbenchers. Uh oh. She would be slaughtered.

Scores of Tory MPs are far less polite about the Robbins/Clark plan than Jacob Rees-Mogg, who is their spokesman on this issue. And even the gentlemanly Jacob has called it ‘cretinous’!

Under Conservative party rules, it needs only 48 MPs to trigger a vote of confidence in Theresa May’s leadership. If she green-lights customs partnership, that will happen within hours.

I fear she simply has no idea how angry Brexiteers are about this plan, or about the Whitehall establishment’s continuing attempts to stymie Brexit. The mood is one of tranquil resolve: if the Prime Minister tries this outrageous anti-democratic move, it’s off-with-her-head.

 

Weariness

 

Would any of this lead to a General Election? Until last week, I would have said no way. An early General Election requires a two-thirds majority from the Commons and, with hard-Left Opposition, I did not think the Tories would risk it. But the encouraging local election results might just tempt them.

The Opposition will always support a chance of unseating a Government, and pro-Brexit MPs know that an election would see off some of the leading Remainers. Ken Clarke would most likely retire. One hears similar rumours about Dominic Grieve, and Miss Soubry would probably lose her strongly pro-Brexit seat.

Yet that fine woman ‘Brenda from Bristol’ spoke for many of us last year by expressing weariness at the prospect of yet another election.

That is why Mrs May will surely take Option Two — which is the only option she should ever have contemplated — and accept that we will not continue in any form of customs union with Brussels after we have left the EU.

If Brexit is to mean Brexit, it must mean independence from foreign tariffs and taxes and blether and bureaucracy.

Stop this damaging and demeaning dither, Prime Minister. Put Greg Clark back in his boring box and set our economy free. It makes principled, electoral sense — and the alternative is too horrible to contemplate.

Andrea Leadsom, who wisely withdrew yesterday, was an accidental candidate and stood scant chance of winning. She was only left holding the shredded standard when Michael Gove detonated his suicide belt, taking Boris with him.

It's no good Leadsom complaining that she was subjected to a concerted dirty tricks campaign.

Trump’s universal trade war declaration is bringing events to a head

U.S. President Donald Trump’s declaration of trade war with just about everybody is really just a case of Trump negotiating a Chapter 11-style bankruptcy for the United States.  A kinder way of putting it would be to say that the U.S. is revolting against an international system that has looted its people on behalf of globalist oligarchs.  Yet another way of putting it is to say the world is negotiating a replacement for the petro-dollar system.  In any case, we can now expect a lot more shouting and bluster, and possibly even the odd nuke or two, as these negotiations proceed.

In public, this dispute can be seen in the biggest open split between European powers and the United States since the end of World War 2.  We have the leaders of France, Germany, and the EU openly calling for an end to the post-war European/American alliance.  The U.S. side, for its part, has publicly threatened sanctions against European countries.  Under the surface, a U.S. assassination campaign against disobedient EU leaders is also a good guess.

The immediate trigger was Trump’s decision to leave the Iranian nuclear accord.  Of course, anybody who is following what is really going on knows that the Trump decision to leave the Iranian nuclear accord has nothing to do with nuclear weapons and is really about Iran’s announcement that it will sell oil to Europe priced in Euros, not petro-dollars.

Let us start by taking a look at how things will proceed on the superficial level.  Here Trump is saying, “If you do not buy more from us, we will stop buying from you!”  He is also saying, “If you stop using petro-dollars to buy Iranian oil, we will prevent any European country doing business with Iran from doing business with us.”  The Europeans are saying, “You are a deadbeat who is not paying for what you buy, so who cares is you stop buying!”  They are also saying, “We will punish any European companies who obey your sanctions against Iran.”

The most important threat seen in public has been the U.S. threat to impose sanctions against Germany if they proceed with the Nord Stream 2 Pipeline.  This pipeline would allow Germany to import more gas directly from Russia instead of having to go through the Khazarian puppet state of the Ukraine.  In essence Trump is saying, “If you do not buy gas from us (at a 20% markup), we will stop buying your cars.”

The elephant in the living room of this EU/American domestic spat is China and its move to replace the Atlantic alliance with a Eurasian alliance that leaves the Anglo-Saxon powers on the periphery of world power.  The way things are going now, the Chinese are winning because the EU/U.S. spat has given a big boost to Chinese yuan-denominated oil futures and thus strengthening the petro-yuan as a would-be replacement for the petro-dollar.

Is Eric Fiorile of the France Conseil National de la Transition an Agent? (More)

After examining Eric Fiorile and his team CNT acting at the Elysée during the Paris march on May 5th, it is becoming quite clear that this guy is perverting all dissidents (just like Jerome Corsi and Alex Jones have).  He is a counter-intelligence agent, acting like a Clown In America through a mix of truth and lies.  As you know, you see the speech, the website, and then the truth emerges.

In reality, Eric Fiorile is exposing the Bilderberg group.  But honestly, he supports François Fillon and makes other mistakes by using dissidents’ names like Natacha Polony, Thierry Meyssan, Gen. Piquemal, and many others.

THE REALITY IS THAT HE IS A CLOWN!

WHY?

Despite what is exposed in his Message to Humanity,

These people and journalists, scholars, and a retired general on his list—famous-name dissidents—were not in Paris with him at the Elysee or Place de la Concorde.  There were 150 activists and tourists who happened to be there in by chance.

My guess is that he is a paid counter-intelligence agent or disinformation agent and probably is reporting to the French government.  That is why he is an expert in using others, exposing the Freemasons, the justice, the United Nations letter, Mr. Valls, Macron, etc.  They use the truth mixed with lies.  He never had an arrest warrant against Macron.  He said that he gave them and he had none left with him.  Come on, he is a clown;  he disappeared in the Underground;  nobody on his team could find him later in the afternoon.

This guy is paid by an outside think tank group as a distraction, or else to take the micky of honest French people and activists through YouTube videos and to report back names to our government.  Listing dissidents does not make him a legitimate French transition president, since we do not have solid evidence from a judge and legal actions.

I would not recommend to assist any translations with his team unless there are top brass of the French judges and military with him providing evidence of a French transition team.

Exposing the Bilderberg group and his members like Mr. Valls, and supporting another one like Mr. Fillon is just a JOKE.  Give me a break!

Dear Ben,

I don’t know who could have written that, but it’s a rather emotional and incoherent message full of the usual slander from a rival dissident group.

First of all, we aren’t and we never supported Bilderberg participants such as François Fillon.  It’s true that Marc Granié mentioned him in his very emotional video of May 3rd.  That obviously doesn’t mean we are supporting him.  I gave you news about Marc Granié in my previous e-mail.

Your source seems to have read our website, but didn’t get the key point about NTC of France.  Unlike all other dissident organizations, we are covered by the International Rule of Law, since we are a UN-registered NTC.  Only one NTC can exist per country, and this obviously can make other dissident groups jealous.  Some are criticizing our Chairman, which is all they can do because our legitimacy is made of solid iron.

The legitimacy of our NTC is a matter of constitutional law.  Indeed, since the signature of the Lisbon Treaty in December 2007, we don’t have a constitution anymore.  The apparent political regime in power in France is illegal.  If you want to know the details, you can find them in the first e-mail I sent you.  Until now we never met anybody able to legally destroy this case.  We have only met critics about our Chairman.

The good old rumor pretending that Eric Fioril is an agent of the regime is spread mostly by competition and infiltrated competition.  One of the “proofs” they give is that he hasn’t been arrested since he started this movement in 2015.  Once again, they didn’t get the point about our organization whether they know and are jealous of our immunity-like status.  If one of us is arrested, it would be very bad global publicity for the regime, exposing globally the base of our legitimacy.  So far the main asset of the regime is that very few French citizens know about it.

The other reason why it is stupid to say he is an agent of the regime is that the NCT of France is connected to the CNES (Conseil National des Etat de Savoie).  CNES Chairman Fabrice Bonnard is our Justice Adviser.  He engineered the case for the NTC of France in cooperation with our Chairman Eric Fioril.  I sent you a summary of what the CNES is about to accomplish.  Well, if you know about that, it’s totally incoherent for our regime to recruit Eric Fioril.  We are obviously in favor of the Savoy case.  Basically, taking us down would expose two of the biggest skeletons in the closet of the French Republic.  This is the basis of our protection.

The claim that Eric Fioril is an agent to ease the listing of dissidents is a stupid old-school claim;  with electronic surveillance they are all listed anyway.

We never pretended that dissidents like Natacha Polony, Thierry Meyssan, Gen. Piquemal, and others supported us.  There is a list on our website of personalities our members would like to invite to form the government once the transition is in office.

The point about the warrant shows one more time that your source didn’t get the point about NCT of France, the regime, and its judges being fake.  Our Supreme Court is the only legal justice body, so we issued the warrants on our own.  We don’t need putative judges of the regime to produce them.

You have our version about the 5th of May so I won’t write about it again.

To conclude, I’d say that of course, so far we aren’t supported by the elites of France for obvious reasons.  But all top factions controlling our country, the good and the bad, know that if they need a legal regime change, it’s going to be through the NTC of France.  We are the legal escape button of the present illegal and illegitimate regime.

Trump Iran sanctions aimed at forcing Middle East peace, Pentagon sources say

More than 40 of the country's top thinkers have launched a pro-Brexit campaign to fight the tide of Remain 'propaganda'.

Leading economists, lawyers, philosophers, historians and social scientists want to challenge the impression all academics oppose leaving the EU.

The group, which includes Remain voters, has criticised the contempt shown by those seeking to reverse the referendum result who regard large numbers of Leave supporters as 'unworthy of consideration'.

Trying to overturn that vote 'would outrage democratic sovereignty, cause dangerous and lasting dissension, and make the United Kingdom an international laughing stock', they said.

A new website, briefingsforbrexit.com, will challenge 'ludicrous' claims about the economic consequences of leaving.

It is the brainchild of two Cambridge academics, the historian Professor Robert Tombs and the economist Dr Graham Gudgin.

Other figures who have signed up to the project include former MI6 chief Sir Richard Dearlove, the Labour peer Lord Glasman, the Oxford law professor Dr Richard Ekins and Baroness Ruth Deech, the former chairman of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority, The Sunday Times reported.

Dr Gudgin, an emeritus professor at the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge, and Professor Tombs, emeritus professor of French history at Cambridge and the author of The English And Their History, both voted in favour of entering the Common Market in 1975, but backed Leave in the referendum, concerned about centralisation of powers in Brussels. 

Professor Tombs said: 'To every crisis that comes along, the answer is always more centralisation, never less.'

Dr Gudgin said he came up with the idea for the website 'during one of those terribly pessimistic weeks. When Theresa May wasn't going to last until teatime and there was definitely going to be a second referendum.

'Together we thought, 'Gosh, we ought to be better organised than at the last referendum'.' 
 
 

He added: 'Nobody who appears on the BBC and says 'this is going to be a catastrophe' is ever asked what their view is based on.'

Professor Tombs said his motivation was the 'whole tide of propaganda about how awful everything was, how awful everything was going to be, and we didn't believe this.

'We realised quite a lot of other people didn't believe it either.' They criticised the contempt shown by many Remainers to those who voted Leave.

Professor Tombs said: 'Graham and I have working-class or lower middle-class backgrounds. 

'I do feel you just can't write off a large part of the population as being unworthy of consideration.'

He said he voted Leave because he feared the EU would break up or become 'much more centralised,' adding: 'We've seen how that works in Italy and Greece: A political choice is defeated by sheer weight of economic pressure – if you do this, your currency or economy will collapse.
 

I don't think that would last and I don't see how it could have a good end. I don't think we either want to be, or ought to be, a party to that.'

Professor Tombs said his research found that the narrative of the decline of post-imperial Britain in the mid-20th century – one of the driving forces behind the decision to join the EU – was a myth. 

'I think, speaking as a historian and as a patriot, we were taken into the EU on a misunderstanding of our situation,' he said. 

'It would have been better in the 1960s and 1970s to continue to ask for a free trade agreement.

'I don't think most people understood the full implications of what we were signing up to politically.'

Their analysis of British growth in per-capita GDP since 1952 showed it was better before we joined the bloc than after. Dr Gudgin said recent Government figures which purported to show huge falls in growth in most regions of the EU after Brexit were 'ludicrous'.
 

He led a team of academics who proved that the assumptions behind the Project Fear papers produced by the Treasury before the referendum were wrong, and failed to take account of the fact that Britain was almost the only EU state that had more trade outside the EU than inside.

He criticised its 'extreme assumptions' which led the Treasury to 'an exaggerated estimate of the impact of Brexit'. 

The two academics said there was a rush of interest from other researchers after their project was conceived – but some Brexiteer academics were afraid to go public for fear it would hit their promotion prospects. 

Many universities get a lot of money from the EU, leading to many academics taking a 'narrow, corporatist view'.

Dr Gudgin said: 'One of our contributors said he was told by a younger pro-Brexit colleague that his professor had told him that people who voted Brexit were the sort of people who sent his relatives to concentration camps.'

Professor Tombs added: 'I thought one thing we academics were paid to do was help explain things to people, but universities have become so simple-minded about this.'

When did you first start using drugs?’ I asked the man sitting in front of me.

He thought for a moment. ‘About two years ago,’ he said.

I looked down at his notes. ‘About the same time you went to prison?’ I asked. He nodded.

 

Drugs are now so rife in prisons that, according to a Royal College of Nursing report this week, staff have required hospital treatment for accidentally inhaling fumes from spice

‘I first tried heroin in prison,’ he said. ‘I got hooked. I started to do a lot of crack in there, too. And cocaine.’

‘But hang on,’ I interrupted. ‘You were in prison.’

The man laughed at my naivety. ‘It’s easier to score drugs in prison than it is outside, mate.’

This conversation, which took place a few years ago, was with my first patient in the drugs clinic I had started working at. The clinic was near a large prison and, on release, every convict with a history of substance abuse was sent to me. This man was the first of many I saw who not only used drugs while in prison, but became an addict there.

In fact, during the time I worked in that clinic, I saw more people who had become addicts while serving time than those who had been addicts beforehand. 

Drugs are now so rife in prisons that, according to a Royal College of Nursing report this week, staff have required hospital treatment for accidentally inhaling fumes from spice — the so-called ‘zombie drug’, a form of synthetic cannabis — while treating inmates.

For today’s inmates, it seems, prison is an opportunity to sit, stoned off your face, watching TV while someone else does your cooking for you. It’s a holiday camp with drugs. And that’s not my view — but what patients have told me time and time again.

As one said, prison is not a deterrent; it’s a nice break from the realities of life.

Probably one of the most shocking things I heard was from one young man, not more than about 20, who said he’d rather be in prison because the drugs he could get inside were better quality than the stuff being sold on the streets.

I can’t be alone in thinking this is utter madness. How can it be that our prisons are now places where it’s easier to break the law than it is outside? What kind of warped message is this giving to those we lock up? Isn’t this the very antithesis of what prison should be about?

It would be easy to blame the wardens, but it’s not their fault. Many have spoken to me about their frustration at what they see. Health care staff tell of the utter futility of trying to implement change because they are not supported from above.

This is one of the reasons prison staff retention is so poor — people come with the idea that a prison is a place of rehabilitation, but soon realise it’s little more than a holding pen. Staff leave in droves, meaning that many prisons are understaffed, which further perpetuates the problem.

One nurse who worked in a prison told me that staff know all too well who is bringing in drugs, and how.

He said dealers would sometimes throw dead pigeons stuffed with drugs over the prison walls to be collected by inmates and their contents distributed.

Mobile phones are everywhere, he explained, so co-ordinating this kind of activity is easy. There have even been cases of drones dropping off supplies.

Wardens see it all, but are powerless — there aren’t the staff numbers to quell the aggravation caused when they try to clamp down. Nor is there the political will to stamp out the problem.

But let’s be honest — it’s not that difficult to stamp out. If airports can prevent people smuggling drugs onto flights, then surely a prison can do the same.

But in order to put in place effective mechanisms to stop the torrent of drugs flooding into prisons, the Government has to decide that this is a priority.

HM Prison and Probation service needs to make a firm commitment that it is going to clamp down on drugs in prisons and do so with immediate effect. Otherwise we are making a mockery of the justice system.

Prison shouldn’t simply be a punishment. It should provide an opportunity for people to reflect on their crimes and to make positive changes in their lives.

What it most certainly shouldn’t be is a place which turns people into drug addicts. 
 
 

A shortage of nurses, it was estimated this week, is costing the NHS £2.4 billion a year. That’s money that could be spent on patient care and treatments, rather than being poured down the drain paying exorbitant agency fees. But, for once, the solution is easy.

First, Brexit provides a wonderful opportunity to recruit nurses from outside the European Union. Once we have control of our borders again, we can decide who to allow into the country. And top of my list would be nurses.

Get them to commit to a minimum of five years’ work in the NHS in exchange for being allowed in.

Second, it’s important we nurture our own, home-grown nurses. Last year, fees were introduced for nursing degrees and grants were scrapped. This has seen a significant drop in applications.

Of course, no one becomes a nurse because of money, but it’s criminal that nursing students are graduating with vast debts. We need to send a clear message to those who want to train to be nurses that we value their vocation.

Scrap the fees and reinstate grants. Now.

What a disgrace. WH Smith has been selling 80p toothpaste for £8 in a hospital shop. Although the retailer has since said it was a pricing error, and has donated the money made from the sales to a charity, exploitation of the sick is nothing new.

In a hospital where I worked that had a similarly eye-wateringly overpriced WH Smith, nursing staff would often pop out to the supermarket on their lunch break to get basic necessities, such as toiletries, for patients.

Why do hospitals allow this to happen? This is a legacy of Tony Blair and — with the introduction of Foundation Hospitals in the early 2000s — the insistence that hospitals become profit-generating businesses.

There are only so many ways a hospital can actually make money and most have hit upon two things: car parking and renting out the space in the foyer to corporations.

It’s the latter that explains why the entrance to many hospitals now resemble shopping malls.

The casualty in this has been the much-loved League of Friends shops, usually staffed by volunteers, who wanted to give something back, often as a thank-you to the hospital who helped them.

Every time I pay £2.50 for a coffee in hospital, I think of the League of Friends who not only charged 20p but would throw in a biscuit, too.
 
 

The way to end abuse 

I’ve been spat at, punched, kicked, sworn at, had knives pulled on me and twice been held hostage during my career as a doctor. Sadly, my experiences are far from unique. There’s no doubt that those on the frontline of the NHS bear the brunt of some atrocious behaviour.

 

Things are so bad that this week, at the Royal College of Nursing congress, it was suggested that NHS staff should be fitted with body cameras in an attempt to keep them safe.

While attacking members of staff is unforgivable, the more pressing issue is not the staff abused by patients, but rather patients abused by staff behind closed doors.

I’m thinking of the elderly, the mentally ill or those with learning disabilities — the most vulnerable members of society — who are on the receiving end of horrific abuse and neglect, particularly in care homes.

The vast majority of abuse cases that come to light do so because families have placed a camera in their relative’s room. We should now start installing this as routine. In fact, if we could put them in every room, abuse would stop practically over night.

We’d weed out the perpetrators and allow those who really care to get on with their jobs.

Yes, it’s awful that we even need to consider action like this, but sadly, as so many scandals have shown, it’s crucial that we do.
 
 

Don't tell patients to 'fight' cancer  

Macmillan, the cancer charity, has warned against telling patients to ‘fight’ cancer, saying that talking about the disease in terms of a battle leaves sufferers feeling guilty for admitting fear and often prevents them from planning for their death.

Having worked on a cancer ward where I witnessed this for myself, I couldn’t agree more.

I saw how the idea of ‘fighting’ cancer made some people feel a failure when their condition became terminal.

It’s easy to see why. The words we use to describe cancer are the words of war. The cells ‘invade’ and we ‘fight back’. We have an ‘arsenal’ of treatments to ‘defeat’ it. Cancer is the ‘enemy’.

Why do we talk about cancer in this way? Because it offers us a false reassurance that the disease is something we can fight against. By using words such as ‘fight’ and ‘win’, we suggest the patient is responsible for their own recovery when, in reality, the success of cancer treatment relies on drugs, radiotherapy or surgery, not willpower.

It’s also a great deal down to luck — at what stage it was caught, whether it has spread, what organs are affected and so on.

And it’s this arbitrary nature of the disease that makes us profoundly scared. By using active words suggestive of a war, things seem less random. But the flip side is that it implies that, when someone doesn’t win the battle, they are to blame.

Even if we never say this outright, it’s often how those with cancer feel. You should have fought harder; you were not a good enough opponent. This isn’t true. Sometimes cancer is terminal and that’s no one’s fault, certainly not the patient’s.

THERESA May delighted Eurosceptics yesterday with an ambitious road map for BREXIT. The PM extended the hand of friendship to the EU but threatened to walk away if BRUSSELS tried to impose a punitive deal. Jack DOYLE sets out her 12 objectives and analyses her chances of success.

1. CERTAINTY

 WHAT SHE SAID

We will provide certainty where we can. The same rules and laws will apply on the day after BREXIT, as they did before. And the Government will put the final deal to a vote in both houses of Parliament.

By keeping in place-at least initially-all EU laws, Mrs May will provide a degree of continuity and confidence for business. However, as she freely admits she cannot control the outcome of the negotiations. Parliament is highly likely to approve any deal because the alternative will be a chaotic BREXIT.

We  want to guarantee the right of EU citizens who are already living here in Britain, and the rights of British nationals in other member states, as early as we can.

Likely to agreed early on, as long as the EU doesn't want to haggle. Last year Mrs May offered to settle on the rights of three million EU nationals in the UK, and 1.2million Brits on the continent in advance of formals talks- but Angela Merkel refused.

Not only will the government protect the rights of workers' set out in European legislation, we will build on them.

Mrs May is determined to at least preserve protections for workers on low and middle incomes-many of whom voted for BREXIT. Could come under threat if there is no deal., and Britain slashes taxes and regulation to attract business.

8. TRADE WITH EUROPE

As a priority, we will pursue a bold and ambitious free trade agreement with the EU. This should allow for the freest possible trade in goods and services. But I want to make it clear. It cannot mean membership of the single market

The crux of the negotiation. Britain will leave the single market, and with it EU laws and free movement. Instead Mrs May wants a tariff-free trade and customs agreement to stop goods being held up at ports. She ruled out ' vast contributions' to the EU budget, and the only money going to Brussels will be for particular programmes and agencies like Europol. Her huge gamble is to threaten to walk away if the EU attempts to punish Britain

A global Britain must be free to strike trade agreements with countries outside the EU too. But I also want tariff-free trade with Europe and cross-border trade there to be as frictionless as possible.

Mrs May wants deals with non-EU countries including the US. That would be impossible from inside the customs union, which imposes a uniform tariff on all non-EU countries. It would also make trade Secretary Liam Fox's job redundant.

All of us in Europe face the challenge of cross-border crime, a deadly terrorist threat, and the dangers presented by hostile states.  All of us share interests and values in common, values we want to see projected around the world.

Security and intelligence cooperation and defence cooperation cannot be a formal bargaining chip, but without making it one, Mrs May reminds EU allies of Britain's importance as an ally in fighting terrorism and important status as a military power.

It is in no one's interests for there to be a cliff-edge for business or a threat to stability as we change from our existing relationship to a new partnership with the European Union.

Mrs May wants tranitional arrangements to smooth the process of leaving the EU with specific deals on budget contributions, immigration, trade and customs lasting different periods of time. Securing this as well as securing a final deal within two years is a huge task.

YESTERDAY  was a HISTORIC DAY for OUR COUNTRY. BY a RESOUNDING MAJORITY of 384, the COMMONS swept away [our  past 45 years of tutelage within an undemocratic-unaccountable-unbearable-corrupt-expensive- strait-jacket Europe.]

 

THIS was a historic day for our country. At 7.30pm yesterday by a resounding majority of 384, the Commons swept away the last serious obstacle to freeing Britain from the chains that have bound us to an unelected, unaccountable Brussels for 45 YEARS.

True, we can still expect dirty tricks from the 114 who, to their shame, voted  against implementing the

PEOPLE'S WILL.

Of these , this newspaper will not waste ink on cursing SNP members, whose fantasies of SCOTLAND as an independent EU nation state gave them a spurious excuse for defying the UK majority.

AS for the rest, no criticism is too harsh for those Labour MPs who represent solidly Brexiteer constituencies, but voted to

REMAIN.

They deserve everything coming to them at the next election.

So, too, do the creeps who in 2015 backed the call for a binding referendum, but voted last night against implementing its result.

Among these, none can beat the monstrous hypocrisy of

NICK CLEGG

-that flip-flopping representative of the moneyed elite, suckled on the [thirsty] breast of Brussels.

Faced with the possible imposition (illegally) of a E. U. Constitution this  article contemplating our own U.K. Constitution (English Constitution), is especially topical.

Constitutional Principles of Power and Remedy.

The Constitution is specifically intended, indeed designed to limit the powers of the state with respect to the people. The Constitution sets a standard upon which the performance of governance may be measured and contested and to provide remedy if abused.

The whole constitution originates its authority from

COMMON LAW

Supremacy resides in the

LAW and PEOPLE

NOT THE

CROWN or PARLIAMENT.

It is a matter of constitutional principle and legal fact that,

THE LAW IS SUPREME

The rule of law is the antithesis of arbitrary power. Integral with this, is the system of jury trial. It places the power of law enforcement in the

HANDS of the PEOPLE.

This the most vital safeguard against DESPOTISM.

The English Constitution's function is to

PROTECT the

"RIGHTS and LIBERTIES

 of ENGLISHMEN".

These are the 'BIRTHRIGHT' of the PEOPLE'

[In 2016 one can see how successive governments have by gradualism watered down these rights with even attempts to replace jury trial by trial by judge only on the grounds of speed and saving resources. The people in the main have been, amiss in not being vigilant to the protection of THEIR CONSTITUTION. In just a few weeks on the 23 June,2016 they have a choice whether to vote to leave the EU and regain THEIR LAW-THEIR CONSTITUTION-THEIR FREE COUNTRY. or REMAIN in an ALIEN COLLECTIVIST AND CORRUPT UNDEMOCRATIC EU with NO PROTECTION of MAGNA CARTA of 1215 and BILL OF RIGHTS of 1688 and NO ENGLISHMAN'S ' RIGHTS and LIBERTIES' to be passed on to FUTURE GENERATIONS.]

The fundamental rights and liberties are listed in the preamble of the Coronation Oath Act of 1688 which declares that  the oath is taken for the purpose of

" Maintaining our spiritual and civil rights and properties"

It is a contract with the people which makes it the permanent duty of the CROWN, and the CROWN in both GOVERNMENT and PARLIAMENT.

This contracts the Monarch to govern only according to the STATUTE, COMMON LAW, and the CUSTOM and to 'CAUSE LAW and JUSTICE with MERCY to be used in all JUDGEMENTS'.

All power of governance is vested in the CROWN.

The two Houses of Parliament may upon their concurrence offer bills for ROYAL ASSENT.

A BILL is not ENACTED until it has been authorised by the SOVEREIGN POWER.

Whilst the enacting power (a royal prerogative) of Royal Assent is entirely vested with the monarch it is contracted ONLY TO BE USED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONSTITUTIONAL LAW.  This is a limitation and essential safeguard to protect the people from any over mighty governance  [such as Tony Blair's and Gordon Brown's NEW LABOUR and since DAVE'S PARTY]

 It was used  to defeat the Divine Right of Kings; a claim of absolute power by the Stuart monarchs.  The OATH ascertains the SUPREMACY of the LAW, not the supremacy of CROWN or of PARLIAMENT.

There is certainly no Divine Right of Politicians.

The Coronation contract is of the Crown owing allegiance to the Constitution. The PEOPLE give ALLEGIANCE to the CROWN.

Here is a system of mutual protection for there is a constitutional interdependence.

The MAGNA CARTA

made provision for the PEOPLE to use ANY MEANS including FORCE if the CROWN is found to be in BREACH.

THE RIGHT OF RESISTANCE IS THE ULTIMATE REMEDY...

That which constitutionally binds the Monarch is a restriction upon Her Majesty, Her Government and all Parliamentary power.  The Monarch may do no wrong, but should she refuse by her negative power( the right to withhold assent) to

'LET WRONG BE DONE.'

[Millions of patriots have been waiting over four decades for:-

'Right to be Done!']

Sir William Blackstone confirms this. Whilst the monarch accepts the advice of ministers, they must only advise to do that which COMPLIES with the CONSTITUTION.  Plainly NO MONARCH is FREE to ASSENT to ADVICE that CONFLICTS with the CONSTITUTION in FORCE.

There is no authority in Parliament to pass any power of governance in England to those who hold or owe no allegiance. [such as the EU]

 There is no constitutional authority for Parliament to deliberately breach the constitutional laws by new   conflicting enactment.

 There is a natural duty resulting from the logic of our constitutional law to debate and resolve conflicts, if necessary by prior repeal.

 We must put an end to this form of 'legal' abuse, particularly through the misapplication of party politics.

 Most but not all of our constitution is written:- the Magna Carta, the Petition of Rights, the Declaration of Rights, the Bill of Rights, the Act of Settlement and the Acts of Union etc. It has evolved over centuries with the expenditure of much blood. It has been abused and corrected many times. It was finally settled by the Glorious Revolution of 1688/9.

The Judicial function is to be the independent arbiter between party and party or party and government under the terms of our constitutional law.  The courts are bound to declare upon the constitutionality of an Act where it may prove to be an action of unconstitutional governance. The great examples of the Magna Carta, the Petition 1628, the Declaration & the Bill of Rights 1688/9 make this duty of the court utterly plain.

Judgement may only be given in accordance with the constraints of constitutional laws in force.  At all times the presumption of law and justice in mercy be upheld and used  in all judgements. This is the trust sand the pre-eminent public policy reposed in the judiciary.

The right of petition to the Monarch is an appeal direct to the source of power, the Monarch is under OATH and at LAW, bound to provide REMEDY. Where there are RIGHTS there are REMEDIES. Politicians and Parliament must abide by the terms of reference and DUTY to the CONSTITUTION.

Trump’s universal trade war declaration is bringing events to a head

U.S. President Donald Trump’s declaration of trade war with just about everybody is really just a case of Trump negotiating a Chapter 11-style bankruptcy for the United States.  A kinder way of putting it would be to say that the U.S. is revolting against an international system that has looted its people on behalf of globalist oligarchs.  Yet another way of putting it is to say the world is negotiating a replacement for the petro-dollar system.  In any case, we can now expect a lot more shouting and bluster, and possibly even the odd nuke or two, as these negotiations proceed.

In public, this dispute can be seen in the biggest open split between European powers and the United States since the end of World War 2.  We have the leaders of France, Germany, and the EU openly calling for an end to the post-war European/American alliance.  The U.S. side, for its part, has publicly threatened sanctions against European countries.  Under the surface, a U.S. assassination campaign against disobedient EU leaders is also a good guess.

The immediate trigger was Trump’s decision to leave the Iranian nuclear accord.  Of course, anybody who is following what is really going on knows that the Trump decision to leave the Iranian nuclear accord has nothing to do with nuclear weapons and is really about Iran’s announcement that it will sell oil to Europe priced in Euros, not petro-dollars.

Let us start by taking a look at how things will proceed on the superficial level.  Here Trump is saying, “If you do not buy more from us, we will stop buying from you!”  He is also saying, “If you stop using petro-dollars to buy Iranian oil, we will prevent any European country doing business with Iran from doing business with us.”  The Europeans are saying, “You are a deadbeat who is not paying for what you buy, so who cares is you stop buying!”  They are also saying, “We will punish any European companies who obey your sanctions against Iran.”

The most important threat seen in public has been the U.S. threat to impose sanctions against Germany if they proceed with the Nord Stream 2 Pipeline.  This pipeline would allow Germany to import more gas directly from Russia instead of having to go through the Khazarian puppet state of the Ukraine.  In essence Trump is saying, “If you do not buy gas from us (at a 20% markup), we will stop buying your cars.”

The elephant in the living room of this EU/American domestic spat is China and its move to replace the Atlantic alliance with a Eurasian alliance that leaves the Anglo-Saxon powers on the periphery of world power.  The way things are going now, the Chinese are winning because the EU/U.S. spat has given a big boost to Chinese yuan-denominated oil futures and thus strengthening the petro-yuan as a would-be replacement for the petro-dollar.

That is probably why Trump chose a NATO meeting to implicitly threaten a shooting war if his trade war with the EU, China, and the rest of the world does not succeed.  Here are his comments:

Is Eric Fiorile of the France Conseil National de la Transition an Agent? (More)

After examining Eric Fiorile and his team CNT acting at the Elysée during the Paris march on May 5th, it is becoming quite clear that this guy is perverting all dissidents (just like Jerome Corsi and Alex Jones have).  He is a counter-intelligence agent, acting like a Clown In America through a mix of truth and lies.  As you know, you see the speech, the website, and then the truth emerges.

In reality, Eric Fiorile is exposing the Bilderberg group.  But honestly, he supports François Fillon and makes other mistakes by using dissidents’ names like Natacha Polony, Thierry Meyssan, Gen. Piquemal, and many others.

THE REALITY IS THAT HE IS A CLOWN!

WHY?

Despite what is exposed in his Message to Humanity,

These people and journalists, scholars, and a retired general on his list—famous-name dissidents—were not in Paris with him at the Elysee or Place de la Concorde.  There were 150 activists and tourists who happened to be there in by chance.

My guess is that he is a paid counter-intelligence agent or disinformation agent and probably is reporting to the French government.  That is why he is an expert in using others, exposing the Freemasons, the justice, the United Nations letter, Mr. Valls, Macron, etc.  They use the truth mixed with lies.  He never had an arrest warrant against Macron.  He said that he gave them and he had none left with him.  Come on, he is a clown;  he disappeared in the Underground;  nobody on his team could find him later in the afternoon.

This guy is paid by an outside think tank group as a distraction, or else to take the micky of honest French people and activists through YouTube videos and to report back names to our government.  Listing dissidents does not make him a legitimate French transition president, since we do not have solid evidence from a judge and legal actions.

I would not recommend to assist any translations with his team unless there are top brass of the French judges and military with him providing evidence of a French transition team.

Exposing the Bilderberg group and his members like Mr. Valls, and supporting another one like Mr. Fillon is just a JOKE.  Give me a break!

Dear Ben,

I don’t know who could have written that, but it’s a rather emotional and incoherent message full of the usual slander from a rival dissident group.

First of all, we aren’t and we never supported Bilderberg participants such as François Fillon.  It’s true that Marc Granié mentioned him in his very emotional video of May 3rd.  That obviously doesn’t mean we are supporting him.  I gave you news about Marc Granié in my previous e-mail.

Your source seems to have read our website, but didn’t get the key point about NTC of France.  Unlike all other dissident organizations, we are covered by the International Rule of Law, since we are a UN-registered NTC.  Only one NTC can exist per country, and this obviously can make other dissident groups jealous.  Some are criticizing our Chairman, which is all they can do because our legitimacy is made of solid iron.

The legitimacy of our NTC is a matter of constitutional law.  Indeed, since the signature of the Lisbon Treaty in December 2007, we don’t have a constitution anymore.  The apparent political regime in power in France is illegal.  If you want to know the details, you can find them in the first e-mail I sent you.  Until now we never met anybody able to legally destroy this case.  We have only met critics about our Chairman.

The good old rumor pretending that Eric Fioril is an agent of the regime is spread mostly by competition and infiltrated competition.  One of the “proofs” they give is that he hasn’t been arrested since he started this movement in 2015.  Once again, they didn’t get the point about our organization whether they know and are jealous of our immunity-like status.  If one of us is arrested, it would be very bad global publicity for the regime, exposing globally the base of our legitimacy.  So far the main asset of the regime is that very few French citizens know about it.

The other reason why it is stupid to say he is an agent of the regime is that the NCT of France is connected to the CNES (Conseil National des Etat de Savoie).  CNES Chairman Fabrice Bonnard is our Justice Adviser.  He engineered the case for the NTC of France in cooperation with our Chairman Eric Fioril.  I sent you a summary of what the CNES is about to accomplish.  Well, if you know about that, it’s totally incoherent for our regime to recruit Eric Fioril.  We are obviously in favor of the Savoy case.  Basically, taking us down would expose two of the biggest skeletons in the closet of the French Republic.  This is the basis of our protection.

The claim that Eric Fioril is an agent to ease the listing of dissidents is a stupid old-school claim;  with electronic surveillance they are all listed anyway.

We never pretended that dissidents like Natacha Polony, Thierry Meyssan, Gen. Piquemal, and others supported us.  There is a list on our website of personalities our members would like to invite to form the government once the transition is in office.

The point about the warrant shows one more time that your source didn’t get the point about NCT of France, the regime, and its judges being fake.  Our Supreme Court is the only legal justice body, so we issued the warrants on our own.  We don’t need putative judges of the regime to produce them.

You have our version about the 5th of May so I won’t write about it again.

To conclude, I’d say that of course, so far we aren’t supported by the elites of France for obvious reasons.  But all top factions controlling our country, the good and the bad, know that if they need a legal regime change, it’s going to be through the NTC of France.  We are the legal escape button of the present illegal and illegitimate regime.

Trump Iran sanctions aimed at forcing Middle East peace, Pentagon sources say

Dear Mr. Fulford,

We exchanged mails close to one year ago.  I thought about writing to thank you for your response on 23 July 2017, but imagined you probably receive hundreds of emails, if not thousands, and did not want to be a pest.  Today I write to send a belated thank-you, but most of all, because I would like your opinion about what happens now that President Trump reneged on the Iran deal.  Insanity, madness, perhaps even senility seems to have overtaken world leaders.  Last year I was worried about Palestine.  Today I’m worried about the whole world.  I despair, Mr. Fulford.  The pit in my stomach seems to be filling up with acid.  What is the world coming to?

I thank you again for taking the time to reply and perhaps send a word of encouragement.  I admire you for keeping up the good fight.  I don’t know if I can do the same.

Purge at highest levels of secret government spells doom for the satanists

A change of guard and a purge of secret power brokers is breaking the deadlock in the battle for the Earth, say Pentagon, Vatican, agency, and other sources.  This is expected to result in the official disclosure of 9/11 and 3/11 truth as well as the removal of several G7 leaders, according to the sources.  To kick off this process, Admiral Mike Rogers, the head of the NSA who “resigned” on May 4th, “will testify before Congress to deal death blow to the cabal,” Pentagon sources say.

A publicly visible sign of this change was the formal election of Fra’ Giacomo Dalla Torre as the 80th Grand Master of the Knights of Malta on May 2.

What is interesting about Dalla Torre is that he obeys Pope Francis, unlike his predecessor, Fra’ Robert Festing, who reported to Cardinal Raymond Burke.  This is what self-described satanist Leo Zagami had to say about this move:

The great French writer Voltaire famously said: 'I disapprove of what you say and would defend to the death your right to say it'. In this way, he encapsulated what it meant to be an enlightened human being — someone prepared to consider all points of view.

But in recent years the principle of freedom of speech, sacred since Voltaire's 18th century, has been lost, and this is surely one of the most sinister features of our times. It is as if we are entering a new Dark Age of Intolerance.

The irony is that this intolerance has come about as a result of what were initially good intentions. One of the things which makes me happy as I grow older is the thought that during my lifetime we have all tried to become a kinder society.

When I was a boy and a young man, for example, racist jokes were the norm on radio and TV. Now they would be unthinkable. Mockery of homosexuals, and the equation of being gay with being limp-wristed and camp, were absolute norms of comedy when I was growing up. Now no longer.

Such jokes have gone the way of boarding-houses which used to put 'NO BLACKS. NO DOGS. NO IRISH in the window'. Obviously, all civilised people feel pleased by this.

But somehow those initial good intentions — to be kinder to and more tolerant of others — have morphed into a political correctness that has had the very opposite effect.

Two notorious recent examples of this concerned the treatment of a Christian baker in Northern Ireland, and some Christian bed and breakfast owners in Berkshire. The baker had not wanted to make a wedding cake for a gay couple who were getting married. The B&B owners had refused to let a gay couple share the same room in their establishment. In each case they were successfully sued for unlawful discrimination.

Now, a gay activist would no doubt say this was a good thing, arguing that the baker and bed and breakfast owners' behaviour was comparable to the racism of the past. Yet this is surely getting things wholly out of proportion.

The baker was not persecuting homosexuals, as Hitler did. He was not saying they should be put in prison, as all Home Secretaries in Britain did until the Sixties. He was merely saying that, as a Christian, he thought marriage should be between a man and a woman, and that two chaps tying the knot were doing something rather different, which is contrary to traditional Christian teaching.

Whatever you think about this matter, the Northern Irish baker and the B&B couple were merely holding on to Christian beliefs.

I don't happen to share their views myself, and think that if two people are rash enough to promise to live together for the rest of their lives, good luck to them, whether they are gay, straight, trans or anything else. But surely you can understand both sides of this dilemma, can't you?

Well, the answer, more and more in our intolerant society, is 'No'. My concern here is not about the rights and wrongs of gay marriage, transgender rights, our colonial history, or any of the other emotive issues that are subject to endless debate in the modern age.

It is about freedom of thought and speech; freedom to disagree in a liberal society; freedom to have thoughts which are different from the current orthodoxy.

What began as our very decent desire not to be nasty to those of a different ethnicity, or sexual proclivity, from ourselves, has turned into a world as intolerant as monkish Christianity in the days of the Dark Ages, when any freedom of thought is questioned.

Tim Farron, leader of the Lib Dems during the General Election, was asked repeatedly about his views on gay marriage. As a fairly old-fashioned Christian, he did not believe it was possible — marriage should be between a man and a woman.

As the leader of a modern political party, he knew that it would be political death to admit this. He was finally forced to resign.

This was a signal to the world that if you want to succeed in modern politics, it is simply not allowed to hold views which, until a very short time ago, were the consensus among the great majority of people in the Western world.

I use the words 'not allowed' advisedly. What is sinister about living in the new Dark Ages, however, is that it is by no means clear who is doing the allowing and not allowing. In Mao's China, it was obvious: thought crimes were ideas which contradicted the supreme leader.

In Britain today, however, it seems an army of self-appointed censors — from internet trolls to angry students, lobby groups, town hall officials, craven politicians and lawyers and Establishment figures, as well as a host of other sanctimonious and often bilious busy-bodies — have taken it upon themselves to police what we can and cannot think or say.

Not believing in abortion, like not believing in gay marriage, is now, unquestionably, a thought crime. It was hardly surprising that the Tory MP Jacob Rees-Mogg recently said he did not believe in abortion, because he is a man of conviction as well as a Roman Catholic, and this is the teaching of his Church. Yet his view was treated with incredulity and disdain by everyone from trolls and women's groups to the higher echelons of the political Establishment.

As in the case of abortion, debate is no longer allowed on transgender issues. There was a BBC2 Horizon Programme last Tuesday night called Being Transgender. The close-up shots of transgender surgery in a Californian hospital will not easily leave the mind.

We met a number of nice people who had decided for one reason or another that they were not the gender which they had once supposed. They were all undergoing some form of transformative medical treatment, either taking hormones or having surgery.

What made the programme strange as a piece of journalism was the fact that it did not contain one dissenting voice. Not one psychiatrist or doctor who said they doubted the wisdom of some of these procedures, especially in the very young.

Still less was there anyone like the redoubtable feminist and academic Dr Germaine Greer who once expressed her view that a man did not become a woman just because he had undergone transgender surgery — and was, as a result, decried from the rooftops with everything from petitions launched to stop her from speaking at university campuses to death threats.

Dr Greer had also been bold enough to say 'a great many women' shared her view, which is obviously true — a great many women do not think that transgender people have really changed sex. What has changed is that it is no longer permitted to say so.

A friend of mine who likes bathing in the women's pond on Hampstead Heath in London says that at least one person now uses the female changing rooms who is obviously in a stage of transition from man to woman, and is simply a hairy man wearing lipstick.

However uncomfortable this makes the women feel, they know that they cannot say anything.

There was an ugly incident lately at Hyde Park's Speakers' Corner, which used to be the place where anyone could go and stand on a soap-box and hold any opinion they liked.

Speakers' Corner was a symbol of British Freedom of Speech. As a schoolboy, I had a Jewish friend whose grandfather used to take us there to listen to people proclaiming that the earth was flat, preachers praising Hitler, Stalin, and others saying whatever they liked. It was the freedom to do so, said the old man who had escaped Hitler's Germany, which made the very air of Britain so refreshing to him.

What would he have thought had he witnessed the scene earlier this month at Speakers' Corner when a 60-year-old woman called Maria was smacked in the face, allegedly by a transgender fanatic, while listening to a talk on planned reforms to the Gender Recognition Act. Reforms which would allow men to 'self-identify' as female, and enter women's changing rooms or refuges unchallenged.

For Maria, as for the intimidated women of Hampstead swimming pool, and for Germaine Greer, it is by no means clear that transgender people have changed their sex.

Transgender activists have labelled women like Maria TERFS — Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists. When news of the assault on her reached the internet — ie instantaneously — the trolls began baying, like the bloodthirsty mob during the guillotine-executions of the French Revolution. 'Burn in a fire, TERF'. 'I want to f*** some TERFS up, they are no better than fascists'.

The use of the word 'fascist' is commonplace in our new Dark Age for anyone with whom you happen to disagree. You hear it all the time in the Brexit arguments which rage all around us and which I dread. As it happens, I voted Remain. But I do not regard Brexiteers as 'fascists', and many of their arguments — wanting to reclaim the power to make our own laws and control our own borders — are evidently sensible.

Yet I have lost count of the number of times I have heard Remainers say that Brexiteers are fascists. As a matter of historical fact, many of the keenest supporters of a united European superstate were actual fascists.

The only British politician who campaigned on the ticket of Europe A Nation during the Fifties was Sir Oswald Mosley who was leader of the British Union of Fascists. But then, today's PC censors don't let facts get in their way of bigotry.

Branding anyone you disagree with a fascist; hitting people in the face; tweeting and blogging abuse behind the cowardly anonymity of the internet — these are the ugly weapons used to stifle any sort of debate. And it is often in the very places where ideas should be exchanged and examined that the bigotry is at its worst: our universities.

This week on the Radio 4's Today programme, we heard James Caspian, a quietly-spoken, kindly psychotherapist, describing what has become a cause celebre at Bath Spa University.

He has been working for some years with people who for one reason or another have begun the process of gender-transition, and then come to regret it.

Caspian is evidently not a judgmental man. He wanted to write a thesis on this subject from a sympathetic and dispassionate point of view.

What makes people feel so uncomfortable with their own apparent gender that they wish to undergo painful and invasive surgery to change it? What makes people then come to reassess their first idea? These are surely legitimate questions about a subject many of us can't quite comprehend.

I have two friends who started out as men, and decided in mid-life that they were really women, or wanted to become women, which is what they have done. I do not really understand what has happened to them, even though they have tried to explain it to me.

Surely a man like James Caspian, who has worked with transgender men and women, should be encouraged by a university to explain this area of medicine or psychology?

But no. The university, having initially approved of his idea for a thesis, then turned down his application. 'The fundamental reason given was that it might cause criticism of the research on social media, and criticism of the research would be criticism of the university,' he told Radio 4 listeners. 'They also added it's better not to offend people.'

This is all of a piece with students at Oxford wanting to pull down the statue of 19th century imperialist Cecil Rhodes from his old college, Oriel, on the grounds that he was racist.

Rather than having a reasoned debate weighing the evils of racist colonialism against Rhodes's benevolence, the student at the forefront of the movement — who had actually accepted a £40,000 Rhodes scholarship funded by the fortune the colonialist gave to Oxford — wanted to pull down the statue.

This is the same attitude of mind as that which led monks in the Dark Ages to destroy the statues of pagan gods and goddesses, or the Taliban to do the same to age-old Buddhist artefacts.

Reason, debate, seeing more than one side to an argument, surely these are the foundations of all that has fashioned the great values of the West since the Enlightenment started in the 18th century with an explosion of new ideas in science, philosophy, literature, and modern rational thought that ushered in the Age of Reason.

Realising that human actions and ideas are often mixtures of good and bad — isn't this what it means to have a grown-up mind? Surely we should be allowed to discuss matters without being accused of thought crime?

In universities, as at Speakers' Corner and in the public at large, there used to be the robust sense that sticks and stones may break our bones but words can never hurt us. Now, the 'hurt-feelings' card is regularly played to stifle any debate.

Little by little, we are allowing the Dark Ages of intolerance to come again. We should not be letting this happen.

We should be able to say: 'We disapprove of your views — on Europe, on Transgender Issues, on Islam, on absolutely anything, but we defend to the death your right to express them'.

THE TRUTH that BRUSSELS cannot BEAR:

PEOPLE CRAVE NATIONAL IDENTITY.

What happened in Catalonia on Sunday was shaming and shocking in a modern European state. Spanish police bludgeoned and assaulted defenceless civilians who were simply trying to exercise their democratic right.

First and foremost, this is a terrible crisis for the wrong-headed, bully-boy government in Madrid. After the unedifying spectacle of police attacking blameless voters, the chances must surely have increased of Catalonia – Spain’s most prosperous region with some 7.5million inhabitants – seceding.

But it is also an enormous crisis for the European Union, which in recent weeks has said almost nothing as the Spanish authorities arrested officials arranging an independence referendum on behalf of the devolved Catalan government.

One reason he did not do so in the case of Spain is that it is one of the most obedient pro-EU countries in Europe, which seldom defies the will of Brussels, or causes trouble for Juncker and his ilk.

But there is an even deeper reason for the Commission’s silence. The events in Catalonia challenge at a deep level its project for ever closer union, about which both Juncker and President Emmanuel Macron of France have ventilated in recent weeks.

For how can there be an amicable union between the EU’s nation states if some of those nations are themselves deeply divided and fractious, as is plainly the case with Catalonia and Spain?

Here is a region of largely Catalan-speaking people who regard themselves as culturally distinct. A sizeable proportion of them yearn to break free from Spain, even though Catalonia has been part of the country for hundreds of years.

Sunday’s vote illuminates a truth which Brussels cannot bear. There are many people in Europe for whom the atavistic call of identity counts far more than any exhortation about forging a European superstate

That, after all, was one of the main messages of Brexit – that the majority of voters in our own ancient nation resent the undemocratic control of Brussels, and have no wish to be sucked into a united Europe.

For Brussels, the example of Britain was bad enough, and it has set about trying to punish us for having had the effrontery to want to leave. In a sense, the demonstration of Catalan nationalism is even more alarming to the federalists because this show of independence is happening inside one of the EU’s nation states.

How is it possible, they wonder, for the pan-European project to proceed if some EU countries are in danger of fracturing? The terror in Brussels is that if Catalonia were allowed to break away, regions in other member states could follow suit. Instead of coalescing into an amorphous whole, some EU nations might fall apart.

Belgium, whose capital, Brussels, is the seat of EU expansionism, is divided. The Flemish-speaking region of Flanders, which constitutes about 60 per cent of the country’s population, is at daggers drawn with the French-speaking minority.

Many people in northern Italy long to be rid of the impoverished south, which is relatively unproductive and, in the view of northerners, consumes more than its fair share of government spending. The Right-wing Northern League has campaigned with some success for independence for the north, and imagines a separate country called Padania.

France faces an independence movement in the island of Corsica. Meanwhile the cohesion of Spain is threatened not just by free-spirited Catalans but also by militant Basques, part of whose territory lies in France.

Romania and Slovakia both have unhappy Hungarian minorities. Even in Poland’s region of Silesia, much of which used to be ruled by Germany until 1945, there are stirrings of an independence movement.

All over Europe apparently unified countries are harried by breakaway groups which have a strong sense of separate identity. If Catalonia were allowed to go it alone, who knows what might come next?
 

The problem for Brussels is that it is used to dealing with individual nation states but is powerless to intervene in unruly regions. That is why the Commission has remained so quiet in the case of Catalonia apart from expressing a few words of solidarity with Spain.

By the way, the British response has been regrettably supine. Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson stressed his support for the Spanish government in a tweet. As the leading Brexiteer he should surely have been more critical of Madrid’s use of violence.

The Spanish government, it must be said, has behaved rashly and brutishly. Arguably some Catalan separatist political parties have been unwise in deliberately engineering a confrontation.

But given that the Catalan government had made numerous requests to hold a referendum on independence – after Spain’s constitutional court had controversially declared in 2010 that Catalonia was not a nation – what was it to do having been rebuffed time and time again? If it had possessed a modicum of good sense, the Spanish government would have allowed the referendum to go ahead. Had the vote been in favour of independence, it could have then questioned its legal status.

But to arrest Catalan officials, to close a large number of polling stations, and then to clobber innocent voters were acts of unbelievable stupidity as well as nastiness.

It passes understanding how the prime minister of Spain, Mariano Rajoy, can say that democracy has prevailed. The opposite is true.

Imagine if two or three years hence the Scottish National Party’s Nicola Sturgeon were to hold a referendum without the approval of Westminster – by no means an unthinkable eventuality.

In fact, her case would be much weaker than that of the Catalan government since there has already been one legal referendum in Scotland in 2014, which was said by the SNP leader Alex Salmond at the time to be the last for a generation.

Even so, it is inconceivable that a new unofficial referendum in Scotland would be met by the authorities in Westminster with police wielding batons and firing rubber bullets. Such a wild over-reaction would inevitably give a boost to Scottish nationalism – as, I have no doubt, the cause of Catalan nationalism will have benefited from Sunday’s onslaught.

The truth is that the Spanish state has a very restricted conception of democracy. We should know that already from its desire to shoehorn Gibraltar into Spain despite 99 per cent of its citizens having voted in a 2002 referendum to remain British.

God alone knows what will happen now in Catalonia. Unless the Spanish government agrees to an official referendum – an unlikely prospect – there will probably be deadlock. I am afraid there is also the possibility of more violence on both sides.

Justifying and supporting the Madrid government is the European Commission in all its absurdity, dreaming dreams of a union which the people of Europe do not want. It will do its utmost to ensure that Catalonia doesn’t interfere with its grandiose scheme.

Will Remainers look at Catalonia and reflect that we have a quieter and more civilised way of dealing with our differences in this country? I don’t know. What I do know is that every day I am ever more relieved that we are leaving this misguided club.

More than ten years have passed since Tony Blair stepped down as prime minister but his malign influence persists.

Among the great institutions of state that he cynically prostituted for squalid partisan advantage were the Civil Service, the monarchy, the Secret Services, the judiciary, Parliament and sections of the Press.

Even now, the neutrality of these institutions has not been fully restored.

This week's shameful story about the Blair government's complicity in the kidnap and torture of an anti-Gaddafi Libyan dissident and his pregnant wife were shocking in the way we were told how Britain's foreign intelligence service, MI6, was suborned by Labour ministers.

What we already know is that although British agents did not actually carry out torture themselves, they aided and abetted it.

They provided intelligence, sent questions to the torturers and were heavily involved in the so-called 'extraordinary rendition programme' (that sickening euphemism for the kidnap and torture of terror suspects and others) overseen by the CIA in the years after 9/11.

Although the then Foreign Secretary, Jack Straw, approved the sharing of British intelligence that led to the Libyan couple being captured and tortured, it was Blair's role that was most morally reprehensible.

He allied himself with President George Bush and the CIA's systematic involvement in torture.

Rarely, I believe, had a British prime minister behaved with such amorality.

It should never be forgotten that on the eve of the first Iraq war against Saddam Hussein, the magnificent and principled Margaret Thatcher refused to allow British officials to obtain information through use of unethical methods.

Instead, she made it clear that information extracted under torture must never be used.

The morally bankrupt Blair had no such scruples.

In the wake of the attack on the Twin Towers in New York on 9/11, his government came under pressure from Bush to help America's extraordinary rendition programme.

It's important to stress that such tactics against enemies is not necessarily a bad thing. For example, in 1960, the Israelis captured Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann in Argentina and took him to stand trial in Jerusalem. This was a morally justifiable act to which few objected. But rendition gained a new meaning under Bush — involving the kidnap and torture of terror suspects.

Bush had dragooned a sycophantic Blair into helping him in his war against terror. Indeed, whenever Bush said 'jump', his British buddy would simply reply: 'How high?'

Now there may be no evidence that Blair had any knowledge of the specific case highlighted this week, involving Libyan Abdul Hakim Belhaj and his wife Fatima. But as PM, he was in charge of the general policy.

But there are oceans of evidence that under Blair, MI6 went from being one of the most respected institutions in Britain to one of its most disreputable bodies.

Crucially, Blair changed the nature of MI6's work — ordering it to drop its traditional obligation to advise governments on foreign matters and warn them of the possible unintended consequences of proposed courses of foreign action. Indeed, this had been a system which had worked perfectly for years — for example, in the Sixties, it was undoubtedly the advice of MI6 spymasters that helped Harold Wilson decide that Britain should not help the U.S. in the calamitous Vietnam War.

Having abandoned its cautionary role, MI6 was roped into Blair's shabby and false propaganda campaign to persuade MPs to vote in favour of Britain going to war with Iraq. To quote from a notorious Whitehall memo at the time: 'The intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy.'

As a result, in the run-up to the Iraq war, Blair compromised the neutrality of two senior civil servants who, to their eternal shame, acceded to his will.

John Scarlett, then chairman of the Joint Intelligence Committee, was leant on to produce a dossier making a fabricated case for war. And MI6 head Sir Richard Dearlove, despite having no hard evidence from Iraq about any 'weapons of mass destruction', acted as Blair's go-between with Washington, thus aiding and abetting Blair's march to war.

Separately, truly culpable was Sir Mark Allen, who was head of MI6 counter-terrorism at the time of the kidnapping of Libyan Abdul Hakim Belhaj and is said to have claimed credit for this 'coup', handing him over to Gaddafi's torturers.

It is not right that he should retain his knighthood and still be an honorary fellow at St Antony's College, Oxford.

He has also been an adviser to oil giant BP and a speaker at The Royal United Services Institute, one of the world's most respected think-tanks.

These bodies' associations with Allen, I believe, mean they have condoned torture.

As for MI6 itself, is it any wonder that its reputation for integrity is deeply scarred.

I fear that this loss of faith in our security service — one of the most important bulwarks of this country's safety — has led some to question any judgment it now makes, even if they are accurate.

For example, one reason the Government's statements about the poisoning of a former Russian spy in Salisbury are not universally believed is because MI6's authority was so badly tarnished by its craven behaviour during the Blair years.

Likewise, British government statements blaming Syria's President Assad for chemical weapons attacks on his own people do not carry the credibility they ought to.

Sadly, MI6 also failed in its duty during David Cameron's premiership — when it should have warned of the potentially catastrophic consequences of his meddling in Libya when Britain intervened to topple Gaddafi in 2011.

Significantly, it had also earlier failed to warn ministers about the dangers — and futility — of our soldiers fighting in Afghanistan.

In stark contrast, the reputation of the domestic intelligence service, MI5, has remained impeccable.

Unlike Blair stooges Dearlove and Scarlett,

 MI5 head Eliza Manningham-Buller refused to give into Downing Street pressure ahead of the Iraq war.

She warned Blair that invading Iraq would increase the risk of terror attacks on Britain's streets.

In recent years, MI5 has undoubtedly foiled many terror plots and saved countless lives.

In my criticism of MI6, I blame its bosses, not the majority of intelligence officers who are brave and patriotic men or women — with many unsung achievements to their credit.

But by becoming part of the propaganda arm of the Blair war machine, MI6 chiefs have betrayed the interests of this country.

Perhaps I am a romantic, seduced by the achievements of fictional spy George Smiley, but I want to be proud of an MI6 that upholds the traditional British values of decency, honour and fairness.

Indeed, Smiley's creator John Le Carre once noted: 'The only real measure of a nation's political health is the state of its intelligence services.'

If that is the case, then Britain is currently in a very bad way.

THE BUDGET FOR THE EUROPEAN CONSTITUTION WAS $5.0 BILLION

 

An account held by Credit Suisse in Zurich, labelled the ‘SBC’ Charcol Account, held a total of some $470 billion when last reviewed by sources.  These funds were originally derived from Nazi funds and assets, are routinely used to pay top politicians and officials to sign successive European Collective treaties- the latest being the so-called ‘European Constitution’.

The budget set aside from the ‘SBC’Charcol Account and to be distributed from the Credit Suisse disbursement account for the latest ‘update’ of the ‘rolling  European Collective Treaty’ was $5.0billion- $2.5 billion being payable in Euros to the participants from the 25 EU countries.

On the finalisation of the Intergovernmental Conference (IGC), which framed the text of the Treaty, and a further $2.5 billion payable in Euros on ratification.  This tranche is currently the subject of much dissension.

For each national cadre of key negotiator, therefore, the total set aside  was $100 million per tranche.  The chief negotiators of each EU country, plus selected officials were each to be paid from the national pot of $ 100 million, whish equates to roughly $75 million per corrupted European Union country.

Silvio Berlusconi, the Italian Prime Minister, was allegedly initially offered $50 million.  being an extremely wealthy man, he departed for the weekend in question in July 2004, following conclusion of the IGC, having indicated to those concerned that he was insulted by such a figure, and that $100million would be nearer the mark.  In the event, following an allowance for his wife, he was allegedly paid $75 million, according to sources.

Tony Blair allegedly received $75 million, which was paid into an offshore bank account held in Belize, the former British Honduras.  There, official eyebrows were naturally raised at the Central bank of Belize, where we notice that all of a sudden, the official reserves of foreign exchange jumped from $49.72 million in February 2005, to $164.53 million in March [2005]

Since the corrupt payment ‘due’ at the completion of the IGC will have been remitted in or about July 2004, this may suggest that the funds have subsequently (in March 2005) been taken into the foreign exchange reserves of the local central bank, so that their actual ownership can be disguised, a ‘new form’ of money-laundering: through a central bank!

 

WE ARE RELIABLY ADVISED THAT THIS CORRUPT PAYOLA SYSTEM IS THE NORM.

 

This means that the European Union’s Treaties

 are null and void,

as they have been obtained by fraud.

THE VIENNA TREATY CONVENTION

Under the 1969 Vienna Convention on the

Law of Treaties

there are two key provisions which authorize a signatory power to abrogate a bilateral or multilateral treaty unilaterally, without giving the stipulated notice:

WHERE corruption has been demonstrated in respect of procuring the

in the first place, or in respect of any dimension of its implementation.
