Officers and detectives in Greater Manchester received an email advising them not to carry out planned arrests during the festival, which ends tomorrow, for reasons of ‘religious sensitivity’ Where was the religious sensibility of the police when Christians were peacefully handing out leaflets at a guy march and were arrested and put in a cell but later released without charge with a action for wrongful arrest against them.
