WHY THE QUEEN MUST STAND UP TO BLAIR.
In the Daily Mail on Friday, October 17, 2004 there
appeared the following article by Simon Heffer which will be a reminder to
those who are still undecided about what effect the proposed EU constitution
will have on our Country and Constitution.

When the Mail campaigned for a referendum on the
proposed EU constitution earlier this year, [2004] it did so for one
overriding reason.
The
basic liberties and constitutional freedoms of this country were in danger of
being surrendered to a foreign power, and no one was proposing to seek the
consent of the people to do so. [No Parliament should consider such legislation
in the first place.]
The
creation of a super-state run from Brussels, with the power to intervene in
almost every aspect of British law and policy, would strike a blow to every
part of our unwritten constitution, and therefore to all freedoms we take for
granted.
The
role and function of the Monarch were threatened along with everything else.
Our Queen has few
prerogative powers left such as her right to choose whom to send for as Prime
Minister, and her right to refuse dissolution of Parliament. She is, though, part of the essential checks
and balances that stop-or should stop-any threat to our democracy,
constitutional settlement and way of life.
Now the Queen’s advisers are said to be examining the
draft text, and particularly Article 10.
It states that:
‘the Constitution and law adopted by the union’s institutions in
exercising competences conferred on it shall have primacy over the law of
member states’
The
Queen is sovereign in Parliament.
Article 10, as interpreted by constitutional experts, implies that
Parliament will lose the right to contradict EU rulings through its own
legislation.
It
is the ultimate symbol of the sovereignty we stand to lose, and proves the
utter dishonesty of Government minister Peter Hain’s argument that this
revolutionary document is but ‘a tidying -up exercise.’
Threat
Under
the proposed [EU] constitution, the Queen would become an irrelevance. She would embody sovereignty no longer, for
there would be no true sovereignty in Parliament for her to embody.
She may still have the power to send for a person to
become Prime Minister, but that person would be answerable effectively to the
President of the EU, not to her. The
Parliament which she could or could not dissolve would be stripped of its
powers. She wold no longer be the ultimate authority in her own kingdom.
This is not the first time the Monarch has been concerned
about the threat Europe poses to her position.
In 1992, when the Maastricht Bill was going through
Parliament, she became concerned about the conflict with her Coronation Oath, in
which she had promised to govern her people according to their laws and
customs. Her then Prime Minister, John Major persuaded
her there would be no conflict.
However,
this new threat is fundamental, far-reaching and infinitely more serious. It effectively strips sovereignty from the
Queen in Parliament and subjugates her and it to the unelected powers in a
European super-state.
It
would mean the end of our Constitutional Monarchy and the transformation of our
royalty into a tourist’s theme park: for it would have no other function.
The real issue, though, is what the Queen should do when
her advisers confirm that her Prime Minister is proposing to use Parliament to
dismantle her constitutional role without public consent given in a referendum
or at a General Election.
[How it is possible for any Englishman to agree to accept
Slavery in the EU when it was stated in the early years of the 19th
century that a Slave arriving on English shore would automatically be
considered a Free subject. From our
point of view there was no need of a referendum in the first place but the
resolve of Parliament to protect our ‘Rights and Liberties.’ But as we have
seen on March 14 -OUR Parliament has suspended the freedoms of our Great
Charter -the Magna Carta of 1215. If the English people don’t get angry soon
then all will be lost which millions of our ancestors laid down their lives in
two World Wars and many in earlier wars at home and on the Continent of Europe
for which many of the peoples found their Nationhood under the defence of
England.]
Mr Blair regards
himself as Head of State, so he may not be too concerned. Our Queen, however, recognises that her first
duty is to the people, to safeguard their liberties.
She would be quite right to conclude that those liberties will be in
far more peril if through Parliament, she is not sovereign, for that
sovereignty embodies democracy.
No Monarch has refused the Royal Assent to a Bill since
Queen Anne in 1702. The last Prime
Minister to have his advice ignored by his sovereign-Robert Peel, who fell out
with William IV in the 19th Century-had to resign. Such confrontations have always since been
avoided by negotiation at an early stage, and in secret.
The Victorian constitutionalist Walter Bagehot said that
the Monarch only really had the rights to be consulted, to advise and to
warn. If the Prime Minister were to
suggest doing something foolish, the Queen could use her 51 years of
experience of statecraft (which dates back before Mr Blair’s birth) to warn him
of the consequences.
Surrender
Such a course is fine in all cases but this one, for
Parliament can always reverse stupid laws.
However, the
surrender of sovereignty which the proposed EU constitution demands would not
be reversible easily, if al all, for the powers needed to reverse it would have
been surrendered.
Therefore,
if the Queen is really concerned about the implications of this policy, a
warning may not be enough.
She could reject Mr Blair’s advice that the Treaty when
concluded should be ratified by Parliament.
He would then either have to agree or to resign. There would be a General Election unless
another labour minister could be found to take over the Government. If Mr Blair won the Election, the Queen would probably have no
choice but to abdicate, and the Crown would be damaged severely.
[Well from what has been already said if the New EU
Constitution Bill passes Parliament and is accepted by the Queen -the Monarchy would be turned
into a ‘tourists’ ‘theme park: for it would have no other function’ so
the Queen might as well take it to the wall and accept the consequences as for
so long as the Monarch has fought to retain the liberties of her people then
there is no dishonour and with the millions of her subjects as support will
fight for the return of the Rights and Liberties which no Parliament could long
ignore and with the wishes of the loyal subjects of the Queen -agree to the return of our Ancient
Constitution.]
To continue further:
The alternative is for her to refuse the Royal Assent
to the Act ratifying the Treaty: but
that would have the same consequences.
Because Mr Blair knows how difficult it is for the Queen to ignore his
advice, he may well feel that he can do what he likes.
The
Queen would, though be perfectly correct to stand on her rights in this case.
The truth is that Mr Blair has no popular mandate to
ratify such a treaty. It would alter
fundamentally what everyone understands by the British Constitution. It would be a massive surrender of sovereign
power.
Indeed, Mr Blair is so desperate to force it through that
he plans to emasculate the House of Lords, the last line of last resistance.
[Well those scenes in the Second Chamber in March 2005
leads us all to hope that all is not lost even from the Blair cronies in
the House who certainly did not just turn over without a fight for the freedoms
of the Magna Carta - though
most regrettably we still have the suspension of our personal liberties for a
year]
Perhaps the rumours that he may, after all, call a
referendum, apparently on the advice of his senior foreign affairs adviser, Sir
Stephen Wall, stem from a determination by the Queen to protect her subject’s
interests.
Sir Stephen, who has long experience in the EU, has told
\Mr Blair the Constitution will succeed only by popular consent - a point
French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin also made last week.
[We are surprised of the statement of Sir Stephen Wall to
consider that any True Englishman would accept the dismantling of his Ancient
Constitution with the destruction of our Monarchy for a Province in a European
superstate.
As we have said many years ago if those disloyal subjects
wish to taste the slavery on the continent then they are at liberty to go -as
quickly as they can. By all means they
can become European citizens but they will leave their British rights and liberties as subjects of
the Queen on our shore of our sceptred Isle.]
It is said Mr Blair may even hold a referendum on leaving
the EU altogether, but now that the British people are better aware of the
price of staying in, that may not turn out to be such a clever move as he
thinks.
Historic
The Queen knows that she, too, reigns by consent. If, in a referendum of her people, they
choose to adopt this new EU constitution and therefore to dispense with her
historic functions, so
be it.
[Here
we go again! - so long as there is a Loyal Englishman who will not
accept slavery then there is still a place in England for the Monarchy. It cannot be a question of numbers for any subject
of the Queen to be denied their constitutional rights and liberties as
Englishman or for
that matter any subject or alien who has the protection of the Common Law of
England and the Crown.
To return once more:
However, if her people are never given that choice, then
she must protect them as best as she can from being bounced into something that
would change forever the way we are governed.
That would violate not just her Coronation Oath, but also
her deep sense of duty towards her subjects.
In such a situation, she would be right to face down Mr Blair. Her people would never condemn her for
standing up for their rights and their democracy.
It would, too, demonstrate the point of having a Queen:
for if she does not defend our rights on this issue, there could soon be little
or no point in her at all.

Government has agreed to a referendum -so all is not lost as there are strong
forces in the Constitution which still have the power to withstand a usurper of
the rights of the English nation -of 1400 years in the making.]

was to be expected the Government has fixed the wording of the referendum
question in order to achieve a 5-10% advantage for the ‘YES’ vote even
though the Electoral Commission have by law to ensure that there is no bias in
the wording of the Question. We are

Hurrah for Libertas!
It
was reported in the Sunday Telegraph
on 20th July 2008 that the Irish
millionaire, Declan Ganley , has
disclosed far reaching plans to give
voters THROUGHOUT THE EUROPEAN UNION
a REFERENDUM on the HANDOVER of
POWER to BRUSSELS.
He
is to field more than 400 candidates
in next June's European Parliament
elections in 26 countries including
GREAT BRITAIN, where voters have
been side -tracked by governments
that have happily ratified the
LISBON TREATY without any democratic
input from their voters.
Great Britain has 12 European
Parliament constituencies and will
certainly be a novelty -and a huge
relief -if formerly non-democratic
endorsement of the EU Treaties hits
the buffers! The vehicle for Mr
Ganley's initiative will be his
pressure group-
LIBERTAS!
-he claims to be well on his way to
raising the £75 million to FUND HIS
PROJECT.
As
the long standing critic of the way
that the EU has concentrated power
in Brussels,

If Mr Ganley would
welcome financial contributions from
the voters in the 26 countries then
he should place advertisements in
their
NATIONAL PAPERS.
His initiative will
truly put the cat amongst the
pigeons for it has been all too easy
for Europe's political elite to ride
roughshod over their peoples. His
initiative will also present UKIP
with a conundrum for it no doubt
expected to do well in Europe, next
June-2009, against the [TRAITOROUS
TRIPARTITE CABAL] the three main
political parties in our country.

that the Queen's Speech will cover the
catastrophic fall in Values and Moral
behaviour since the beginning of her 56
-year reign. This has been brought about by
the actions of HER MINISTERS and the greater
number of those in HER PARLIAMENT who have
placed THEIR CONCERNS before the INTERESTS
of THE PEOPLE and NATION STATE.
As for
the fact that HER PEOPLE feel LOST that has
been the direct result of the actions of HER
SUCCESSIVE GOVERNMENTS and the TRAITOROUS
POLITICIANS including PRIME MINISTERS who
have stealthily over the 56 years of HER
MAJESTY'S REIGN have almost achieved their
aim of ENSLAVING the PEOPLE to a FOREIGN
POWER.
The reason
for the marked drop in the number viewing
THE QUEEN'S SPEECH is no doubt because the
mass of people have realised years ago that
the MONARCH is powerless to PROTECT their

We as loyal
subjects of the MONARCH who is the living
embodiment of OUR RIGHTS and LIBERTIES
ask at this late stage with only months to
the eradication of a FREE NATION STATE some
veiled comments that HER MAJESTY will
PROTECT our RIGHTS and LIBERTIES.
As for the
MORAL tone of the NATION STATE at this most
crucial time in ENGLISH CONSTUTUTIONAL HISTORY this matter
should be left to CHURCH LEADERS who's
responsibility it is to CARE for their
FLOCKS particularly at this FESTIVAL of
CHRISTMAS.
IF HER
MAJESTY'S SPEECH has not been pre-recorded
we ask HER MAJESTY to give those MILLIONS of
HER subjects some hope that their PROTECTOR
has NOT FORGOTTEN THEM.

Of
course the QUEEN under HER CONSTITUTIONAL ROLE can only 'Advise and
Warn' HER MINISTERS but when the matter concerns the very LIFE of an
INDEPENDENT STATE we expect that HER MAJESTY consider the arrangement to
be AT AN END as it would make a MOCKERY of the PRIME IMPORTANCE of the
MONARCH to protect our inherited Rights and Liberties which HER
MINISTERS are endeavouring TO GIVE AWAY.
We as loyal subjects of the MONARCH who
is the living embodiment of OUR RIGHTS and LIBERTIES ask at this late
stage with only months to the eradication of a FREE NATION STATE some
veiled comments that HER MAJESTY will PROTECT our RIGHTS and LIBERTIES.
As for the MORAL tone of the NATION STATE
at this most crucial time in ENGLISH CONSTITUTIONAL HISTORY this matter
should be left to CHURCH LEADERS who's responsibility it is to CARE for
their FLOCKS particularly at this FESTIVAL of CHRISTMAS.
IF HER MAJESTY'S SPEECH has not been
pre-recorded we ask HER MAJESTY to give those MILLIONS of HER subjects
some hope that their PROTECTOR has NOT FORGOTTEN THEM.
