We deserve whatever Europe throws at us

HERE'S YOUR STARTER FOR 10

Do you know when the European Union's national day falls?

Can you identify its flag, remember its official motto, or hum its national anthem?

ALL RIGHT, ITS A TRICKY QUESTION

In theory, none of these things exist

[But here we are talking about the EU]

They would have been recognised by the

EUROPEAN CONSTITUTION

-but, in pretty much the only concession to Eurosceptic opinion they have been removed from the new draft, to be signed in Lisbon tomorrow

[by our enthusiastic Britisher Mr Gordling from Fife].

In practice, of course, this excision makes no difference. The EU will continue to mark its national day (May 9), fly its 12-start flag and perform Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. Indeed, the official anthem now opens every formal sitting of the European Parliament, bringing MEP's to their feet with their right hands clapped to their breasts. Most MEP's anyway. This one is left writhing about like Alex in a Clockwork orange gasping:

"It's a sin, using Ludwig Van like that ! he only wrote the music!"

Sixteen of the 27 EU states will sign a declaration pledging their continued loyalty to the EU's symbols. But , given that no one is proposing to drop these symbols, it's hard to see what they're bothered about.

The continued use of the Euro-emblems, albeit without legal basis , is typical of how the EU reacts to

"NO" votes.

In the two-and-a-half-years since the

FRENCH and DUTCH

REFERENDUMS

most of the policies and institutions that the constitution would have set up have been established anyway:

The European diplomatic corps ("European External Action Service")

The pan-European magistracy ("Eurojust")

The Human Rights Agency

The Defence Agency

The External Borders Agency

The European Space programme.

Later this morning, MEP's will hold a special ceremony to mark the adoption of the

Charter of Fundamental Rights.

NEVER MIND that the constitution is NOT YET in FORCE.

NEVER MIND that BRITAIN claims to have opted out of the whole business. In the eyes of the EU institutions, including the Court of Justice, ,the charter is now legally binding.

Perhaps this explains why a sense of anti-climax attends tomorrow's signing ceremony in the Portuguese capital. people understand that the project [of 50 year's of stealth and deceit] has a momentum of its own. The EU doesn't need new treaties to enlarge its jurisdiction. Its bureaucracy like all bureaucracies will carry on aggrandising its power regardless of what elected politicians decree.

I'll offer a pound to a euro that not one of the 27 heads of government has read what he is signing. I say this with some certainty, because I have spent the better part of two months struggling through the text chasing up all the references to previous treaties, and trying to stay on top of the regular article re-numbering.

The new draft has been rendered calculatedly impenetrable. Euro-lawyers were evidently instructed to keep the same

63,000 words

[the American Constitution has approx. 400 words]

that made up the

EU CONSTITUTION

but to jumble them around for maximum opacity. All the substantive points are still there.

The President of Europe

The Foreign Office

The EU Criminal Code

and the scary clause that allows Euro-leaders to extend majority voting without needing new treaties - but they are no longer contained in quotable passages.

[Bang goes those solemn promises to protect our  'red lines']

THIS WILL BE A SLY SUMMIT

a surreptitious summit, an embarrassed summit. There will be none of the hubristic speeches that marked the signing of the

EU CONSTITUTION in 2004

Seven of the 27 leaders have promised

REFERENDUMS

and are now seeking to shuffle away from their commitments.

[We wonder why? Is it that they now fully realise that even 63,000 words cannot hide the hideous revolting undemocratic monster that they are asking their people's to join. And of course they now know what wonderful pickings are in store for them if they can but deceive their own populations until the ratification of the NEW EU TREATY by ALL member states?]

But the prize for sheer cowardice must go to our own Prime Minister, the Fifeshire, Gordon Brown, who, in the manner of a small child who believes that covering his eyes makes him invisible, has arranged to stay out of the group photograph and sign the document in private

[of SURRENDER of the

'Rights and Liberties

 of

Englishmen'

 apart from that of his own country and that of our western neighbours in Wales.]

WHAT A PERFECT METAPHOR FOR BRITAIN'S ATTITUDE TO THE  EU:

SULKY-PETULANT-BUT ULTIMATELY SUBMISSIVE

Europe's leaders no longer hope to convert their people's just as the Prague Spring persuaded eastern Europe's Communists that they

COULD NEVER ALLOW FULL DEMOCRACY

so the

FRENCH and DUTCH

"NO" VOTES

have hardened the Euro-apparatchiks' attitude towards their voters. Eurocrats no longer tell themselves that, once people see the benefits, they will come round. Now like the rulers of the

IRON CURTAIN STATES

they demand

ACQUIESCENCE rather than APPROVAL

CONSENT rather than CONSENSUS

They don't hope to convince us, simply to bore us into

SURRENDER.

instead - a once stoic independent people have submitted to SLAVERY without so much as a murmur and get on with their Christmas shopping oblivious of what they have relinquished of over 1400 years in the making and which was theirs on trust to pass over to future generations of the English race. They have betrayed not only themselves but the countless millions throughout the world who still prize our discarded INHERITANCE.]

And by and large, they [EU] are succeeding [In their deceit]. Whether through

APATHY

FATALISM

or

SHEER INDIFFERENCE

WE ARE LETTING OUR LEADERS TRAMPLE ALL OVER US

There are plenty of people we might try to blame

MENDACIOUS POLITICIANS

TRIVI-OBSESSED JOURNALISTS

EUROCRATS.

But the TRUTH is that RESPONSIBILITY lies closer TO HOME

If we had properly wanted to prevent tomorrow's grisly necromancy, we would have roused ourselves.

 'The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves, that we are underlings.

[We who have been fighting the cause of FREEDOM for over twelve years having been EUROSCEPTIC since 1972 have a little to add to the above.

From our stand point we can see that it has been the inability of the EUROSCEPTICS to UNITE with a determined LEADER chosen from outside the present organisations to get the job done , whatever the difficulties. We had in mind  General Sir Michael Rose or some other of his ilk who would not countenance failure to get the message through. What the EUROSCEPTIC LOBBY failed to realise was that they were in a REAL BATTLE for their COUNTRY .It is the failure of the eurosceptic organisations particularly since 2004 to identify those who

WANT OUT OF EUROPE

rather than those who wanted to wait and see and anyway wouldn't there be a REFERENDUM for them to have their say. They trusted too well in their politicians and tomorrow December 12, 2007 a date which will live in infamy because of the

BETRAYAL of the ENGLISH PEOPLE

they will see the result.

According to the polls there are millions of voters who wished to leave the EU and the divided  Eurosceptic lobby failed to mobilise the true believers instead going after any dissident on EUROPE.

This might have paid dividends before Tony Blair and his treasonable cabal arrived on the scene but as we have already stated after 2004 it should have been a concerted campaign to

 UNITE all EUROSCEPTIC ORGANISATIONS.

As we have recently stated as the MARCHING and CONFERENCES were off-limits the funds of the eurosceptic organisations should have been used to take

 MORE DIRECT ACTION

But the recent circus outside Parliament showed that the supposed recent attempted UNITY was so superficial that it resulted in almost more CHIEFS than INDIANS at the supposed major RALLY. We can speak from experience because WE WERE THERE.

Of course it is not the end YET there is still the we hope battle within the next six months in the:

HOUSE OF COMMONS

HOUSE OF LORDS

and of course

THE MONARCH MUST SEAL THE TREASON

in defiance of her

CORONATION OATH

and without the promised

REFERENDUM.

During the last days of Berlin in 1945 -Doctor Goebbels, Hitler's propaganda Minister, told a German Commander who wished for the civilian defence forces made up of children women and the elderly which Goebbels had brought into being to defend the city to be removed from the front line as his experienced forces were unable defend the city without killing their own citizens.

Goebbels refusing to give the order to save the citizen army replied:

'The People gave us a Mandate - and now their throats are being cut'

It won't be long before the mass of the people in this country who felt they had better things to do than defend their

COUNTRY and CONSTITUTION

will soon complain that they didn't agree to their SLAVERY and they will also be told

You had your chance to voice your opposition to the NEW EU TREATY but you decided instead to  continue with your Christmas shopping instead, so you must accept your fate and not moan later because you were too lazy to see the danger.

IF YOU DO NOT SAY

"NO"

 AND MEAN IT

then

IT MUST BE

"YES!"

There is an old saying:

,'You made your bed so you must sleep in it'

AND WE HOPE IT IS DAMN UNCOMFORTABLE.

If the majority of the English people who now inhabit our island were taken back to 1939

WE WOULD HAVE LOST THE WAR

and

which makes us wonder what kind of people we have become? Our loss of  over  1,500,000 lives  in the first World War and over 250,000 lives in the Second World War in our own country let alone the tens of millions that the war cost worldwide should have strengthened our resolve instead of weakening it.

 It makes a mockery of reverence at the Cenotaph on

REMEMBRANCE DAY

and if the dead could rise from the ground they would give us such a storm of disparaging protest about not 'Doing the Job'

Hitler has been proved right and his henchmen have in 2007/8 only to complete his plans for a

DICTATORSHIP of EUROPE

And the majority of the English People have helped just
