To Preserve The Free Nation-States of Europe -Vote ‘NO’- To the NEW EU Constitution.
In
the Leader Column of The Daily Telegraph on Thursday 27th
January 2005 appeared the following article:
Europe’s point of no return. At last we have it: the most momentous question for the electorate since the retrospective referendum on the membership of the European Economic Community (as it then still called itself) three decades ago [1975]. “Should the United Kingdom approve the Treaty establishing a Constitution for the European Union?” It must be acknowledged that the wording of the question is neutral. Tony Blair has confounded expectations by playing the first ball of this campaign with a straight bat. It was in his interest to do so. To have asked a loaded question would have elicited an indignant answer. By
conceding this referendum, [We don’t believe he had any choice in the
matter-whatever he may think of himself there is one who can still politely but
him in his place] Mr Blair took a colossal risk. But the debate on the
Constitution has been muted lately, because both sides have had tactical
reasons to keep their power dry. [New] Labour is banking on winning a Referendum in the wake of a third election landslide, and has no desire to imperil the mandate by raising Europe at this stage. The Tories having tried and failed to cash in on the issue four years ago are equally wary of it. The ‘No’ campaign, flushed with success in seeing off the Euro, has waited to see how the Government would play the [New European] Constitution before showing its hand. [The ‘NO’ Campaign also had the massive win against the proposed Regional Assembly in the Northeast even though the Government (As is usual) put in a great deal of extra money and had the help of much of the Press and Media particularly the BBC Northeast and other bodies and Placemen all to no avail- the people have at last awoken from their sleep to see the dangers inherent in Tony Blair’s European Dream.] Nevertheless, this week Europe has returned to take centre stage. Whether or not Michael Howard intended his Immigration Policy to re-ignite the European debate, it has certainly had that effect. The response that the Tory proposal to impose annual quotas on asylum seekers drew from [Big Brother] Brussels was so unequivocal- “Don’t even think about it”- that the whole country has been reminded of what the theory of “pooled Sovereignty” actually means in practice it comes down to this: Britain proposes, Europe Disposes. [An Article by Andrew Alexander in his Column in
the Daily Mail in June 1996 gave a clear answer to the term “pooled
Sovereignty”. “…You can no more pool sovereignty than you can pool individuality…] Those in public life are well aware of how
many of their everyday decisions are bedevilled by European laws, Regulations,
Directives [etc] The rest of us notice only fitfully, as when the State is
compelled to abolish some cherished liberty or tradition.
But in
reality the process is incessant and inexorable.
[We
have the traitors from all the main political parties over 32 years many in
Parliament to thank for this. We hope you will all remember why you should vote’No’to the
New European Constitution- if you ever needed reminding?]
The purpose of the [New] European Constitution is to codify this permanent revolution [Which
has been silently and deceitfully and stealthily carried out over the past 4
decades] and to enshrine it in an overarching document, which courts will then use to extend the EU’s “competences” still further. [Into
a Totalitarian-Big Brother State- with its anticipated million strong Special
Elite Proletariat and Special Advisers laughing at the greater number of the
fools who allowed it to happen -or will they-we shall see?] It
is curious to think that, little more than a century ago Bismarck
[Prince Otto German Chancellor (1871- 90) -died 1899] could still dismiss
Europe as merely a “geographical concept”.
The forces he first mobilised had the unintended consequence of
transforming this concept, first into a customs union, then progressively into
a continental superstate. The
British have hitherto comforted themselves that this had little to do with
them. Churchill’s phrase of 1914- “business carried on as usual during the alterations
to the map of Europe” -Still resonates.
But the impending Referendum ought not to be seen as a distraction from
the real business of the country. Its result is as crucial
as any election. * [In England’s over 1000 years of history those great ancestors of ours must wonder how our country has come to this humiliating situation-but we should not be surprised for history is littered with examples. Greece under Alexander the Great where men ‘where better governed, had greater prosperity and higher culture. The price paid for it was the disappearance of the Individual, the free-state in which the citizen made and kept laws and was at the same time ruler and ruled’.
At the present day in February 2005 -at least our people have been warned and they still have time if they have the courage to reclaim their country.] * This
is Europe’s point of no return. Our Referendum will determine the future not only of
Britain but also of Europe. If we wish to preserve Europe as a free association
of nation-states, then the [New European] Constitution belongs in the dustbin
of history. If it achieves that end,
this Referendum could become an [English] British “DECLARATION OF
INDEPENDENCE” * [Fonts

without desiring to share their ‘Prisoner’ community an excuse for Democracy and
