A NATION’S HONOUR SHOULD NOT BE BLEMISHED

 

This essay was written some time ago but was only today the 25th August 2004, appeared on our Bulletin Board.

 

 

A Crime Against The People

 

A Referendum has been offered to the British People for them to decide on the future or otherwise of their country.  With the lies and deceit from successive governments since 1972 and beyond which has almost taken away the

 ‘Rights and Liberties of the English People.'

 

In the previous Referendum there was no doubt that the People were lied to by the Government of the day.

 

What can we do?  Well we can bring those traitors responsible to justice as the evidence against them is in the public domain. As their offence is against public law it will require an Impeachment in our Parliament or for a future loyal government to bring an action against the offenders.

 

The last Referendum in 1975 was deliberately compromised by the Government of the day by its lying to the public about the true course and direction which the new legislation would take. Apart from the ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ campaign the Government itself had its own campaign at the taxpayers expense with its usual tactic of lies and deceit.

 

In English Law – A Contract that is obtained by undue influence (using taxpayers money) with untrue and misleading statements – it is said the Judgment would be put aside.

 

Another way for us all to obtain Justice might be by a ‘Petition of Right’- which is lodged with the Home Secretary who after due investigation receives in suitable cases the Royal fiat

‘Let Right Be Done’-

but don’t hold your breath?

 

 

Our contention of misrepresentation to put it mildly can be compared to the Rules of Contract.  Where one Party has been guilty of fraudulent misrepresentation or concealment he is not permitted to hold the other Party to the bargain.

 

Well! I’m sure millions of our citizens would consider that they are no longer bound (if they ever thought they were) by the previous Referendum and now demand Justice. [See Bulletin Board for Renunciation of EU Citizenship]

Additional to the above we now have 50,000 (?) Regulations and Directives from the EU. And in the future there will be 24 other countries that will decide the affairs of our nation, if we agree to the New European Constitution.

 

Well though some will dispute it we are still a Christian nation as is shown by the integral place our faith occupies in our nation and as confirmed in our Ancient Constitution. (Coronation Oath)

 

The general customs of the Realm have been built up over a thousand years – the substance of which can be illustrated by the habitual courses of action –the move in which a path (our customs-law and way-of-life) is found formed across a Common.  One man crosses the Common in the direction, which is, suggested either by the purpose he has in view, or by mere accident.  If others follow in the same track, which they are likely to do after it has once been trodden, a path has been made.

 

Our path to our once destined future has been blocked as by a dam of untruths, which have been built up over the past 40 years.

 

As a Christian nation we should uphold in first place TRUTH as well as JUSTICE in our dealings with other nations – our Government which deceived their own People was not immune to carry the same deceitful practice into their foreign relations-as instanced in their illegal invasion of Iraq.

 

The Intelligence Service has given the wrong message to the image of our nation at home and abroad by the appointment by Mr Blair of John Scarlett to the   future head of MI6 of a man (1) who if he had the welfare of his country in mind might well have prevented an unjust war and the shameful aftermath - an event which will be a mark of dishonour on our country which has in general a just record in its past actions in the affairs of other nations as outlined in our long history.

BRITAIN'S voting system is 'archaic' and divisive' and does not represent the will of millions, a pressure group has argued. The Electoral Reform Society, which has campaigned for proportional representation for 130 years, claimed last month's General Election was the most disproportionate ever.  It said UKIP would have WON up to 80 seats using the type of PR used in many European nations, while the GREENS would have got 20.  UKIP and the GREENS received 5MILLION VOTES, but under the FIRST-PAST-THE-POST system ended up with ONE MP each.  An E R S-commissioned survey said under PR the TORIES would have seen their tally of MPs fall  by almost 100 while  LABOUR would have gone down 24...
