TOP QUANGOCRATS
ARE COSTING US £6.2 MILLION A YEAR AND £167 . 5 BILLION HANDED OVER TO
SUPPORT 883 QUANGOS by

THE BOSSES of Britain's top 20 QUANGOS are costing
taxpayers £6.2 Million
a year, researchers have discovered.
This is despite Gordon Brown's promise to trim the
non-accountable, publicly funded bodies.
An Economic Research Council study
shows that the four highest earners each received more than
£500,000
while the total cost of
QUANGOCRACY
WAS £165
BILLION.
[With so much
child knife and gun crime again in the news a legacy of Blair's
children's rights culture and his undermining of the traditional family
we would redirect the above monies to a nation-wide expansion of
sporting facilities for all children. Only a return of the traditional
Bobbie on the Beat unhindered by political correctness of so-called
human rights and more prisons and tougher sentences will begin to
reverse the slide to anarchy among the young who now get their kicks
knowing that they can be a celebrity and get all the attention and be sure
that the sentence if at all will be a doodle and will soon be backs on
the streets with his mates -showing what a great guy he has become. That
is the real reality on the streets and the new Home Secretary has no
chance of making any breakthrough until they tear up all the damaging
legislation since 1997.
They say that in gang culture it has been almost
impossible to get fellow members of the gang to talk and that the law
should be changed to force a statement of events. ONLY when you
have a long standing Bobbie on the Beat that is trusted and has
intensive intelligence of the area will the gang member be able to be
encouraged to speak out about what occurred and place his security in
his hands. The present occasional car zooms into an area when a terrible
crime is committed will not encourage any individual of a gang to grass
on his mates he knows the police presence is virtually non-existent
and anyway he doesn't trust THEM.]
Top of the
public sector rich list is Adam Crozier, who was paid
£812,697
-last year-although with bonuses he actually earns more than
£1,000,000
News of his outsized pay packet follows complaints of lost and delayed
mail and the Royal mail's initial refusal to allow families of soldiers
in IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN
-to send free parcels.

Michael Parker, the chief of British Nuclear Fuels, who earned
£635,751
Andy Duncan, the head of Channel 4, which receives an annual subsidy of
£894 MILLION
-is fourth on the rich list with a salary of
£549,000
He has come under repeated fire this year over the
Celebrity Big Brother
race row and the 'dumbing down' of the station's
programmes. and the victims of
this summer's floods, who face huge bills, may be dismayed to know that
baroness Young, head of the Environment Agency, which oversaw the
response, earned £200,000
last year and is 16th on the list.
Council director Dan Lewis yesterday criticised the
Cabinet Office for its growing reluctance to provide useful information
about QUANGOS
-and those who work for them.
The office
suspended a database in April last year and disbanded its public bodies
team which collected information about
QUANGOS.
[Well they were
no doubt were getting very sensitive to the reactions of the public
about knowing too much about the free-loaders and no doubt making things
more than a little difficult for them and their never had it so good
chums. The practice of paying such prodigal sums of taxpayer's money in
many cases where little or no improvement or even after disastrous
results is a monstrous and wasteful habit which governments have
encouraged despite the intervention of the NAO watchdogs. ]

'Nothing
shows more clearly the contempt this government has for taxpayer's money
than the record salaries of these QUANGOS fat-cats.'
said Mr Lewis.
[We have been
saying for years that the parliamentary system should now be changed
because the previous Checks and Balances and observance of customary
behaviour has been destroyed by New Labour. We have stated that MPs
and others connected to the GOVERNMENT should ONLY serve ONE TERM which
gives the individual more independence of party and also will allow many
subjects to do their bit for their country without being branded
parasites and scroungers on the PUBLIC PURSE.]
TWEEDLEDEE and TWEEDLEDUM
Mr Lewis continued:
'These vast salaries show that the time is well
overdue for a
PUBLIC INQUIRY
into the pay awards of
QUANGOS bosses.
Who decides what they are paid, how they are chosen and
how can we tell whether they're worth what they are paid?
WE NEED TO KNOW
Until that
happens, at the very least, there should be a total salary freeze.
'Even when our
frontline troops are under-supplied, under-equipped, fighting and dying
on a miserly
£14,000 a year
-this GOVERNMENT shamelessly carries on funding the
enormous salaries of these QUANGOCRATS.'
[The FAULT lies with the PUBLIC in allowing THEIR COMMONS HOUSE to do
whatever they want and as is always the case without DIRECT ACTION they
have and still are ignoring the wishes of the majority in a country
which will soon be absorbed into a police state because the people
failed to realise that PARLIAMENT is no longer answerable to THEM but to
the wasteful and totalitarian state which unless we do something quickly
we will all end up as a PROVINCE of a FOREIGN POWER.]

1995, but check the small print and you see that Government spending on
QUANGOS has soared by
£44 BILLION
-in the last four years -£1,700 for every British family.
'Far from improving transparency and accountability,
the prime Minister has allowed QUANGO COSTS to spiral while cutting back
on the amount of information published about THEM.
The ERC's initiative is very welcome -and necessary,
given that Gordon Brown has failed in his
PROMISE
to tackle the
QUANGOCRACY'
[Apart from his party's PROMISE of a REFERENDUM of the
NEW EU TREATY which HE is refusing to allow because the last thing he
wants to see is PEOPLE POWER
to hinder his plans for
BRITAIN in EUROPE

-because BRITAIN or more specifically
ENGLAND
WILL NO LONGER EXIST]

883 QUANGOS
COST the TAXPAYER
£167.5 BILLION
LAST YEAR
This was a seven
-fold increase from the £24.1 Billion when New Labour came to power ten
years ago and more than five times the
Ministry of
Defence's
£32 BILLION
Budget for 2007.
[And when one
realises the unnecessary deaths of our brave soldiers in Iraq and
Afghanistan who since the conflicts began were unable to get such items
as toilet paper to helicopters and protective armoured vehicles and
dozens of other items of vital equipment it is a wonder there has not
been a revolution and the culprits shot or sent to the war zone without
the proper equipment and see how they survive and if they should
be so lucky but badly injured make sure they are in a civilian ward with
a constant stream of Muslim visitors complaining of the illegal invasion
of a Muslim country and see how they react under such stressful
circumstances.]
