Gordon Brown has long maintained an increasingly difficult pretence about post-devolution Scotland, and his place as a Scot who mainly governs

 

England.

 

He claims devolution has changed nothing about the unity of the kingdom, and he as a Member of the Westminster Parliament can remain as involved as in matters affecting

ENGLAND.

 

To drive his point home, he makes frequent and unconvincing speeches about

 

BRITAIN

 

-its identity and values.

 

On Monday, he blithely announced that university tuition fees-which Scots do not pay-would almost certainly rise from their present maximum of £3,000 a year after 2009.

 

His remarks, which will anger and concern many

 

ENGLISH

 

-families struggling to afford a university education for their children were an object lesson in the unaccountability of POWER- after DEVOLUTION.

 

The predominant feeling in

 

ENGLAND

 

-is that Scotland has chosen to go its own way (albeit with a handsome subsidy from the

 

ENGLISH TAXPAYER)

 

-since voting to have a devolved in 1997.

 

The

 

ENGLISH

 

-have become used to having no say in domestic Scottish affairs, accepting the democratic will of the Scots that this should be so.

 

They are [THE ENGLISH], however, increasingly resentful of the drain on THEIR finances that Scotland now represents, and the fact they [THE ENGLISH] have no say how their largesse - about

 

£10,000,000

 

-is spent.

 

They resent even more that, having surrendered their right to influence Scottish politics, Scottish politicians continue to vote and rule on matters at

 

WESTMINSTER

 

-that affect the

 

ENGLISH

 

-but not their own constituents.

 

Mr Brown is a prominent offender in this regard, but not the only one:

 

John Reid, as Home Secretary, rules on vital POLICE and PRISON matters in

 

ENGLAND

 

-that are the province of the devolved assembly in Scotland.

 

Alistair Darling can make Transport Policy as he likes. When MINISTERS need not fear facing up to their own constituents for the consequences of their actions, a vital democratic safeguard is destroyed.

 

LABOUR shrugs off accusations of unconstitutionality, and brazens out calls to answer what Tam Dalyell 30 years ago christened

 

“The West Lothian Question”

 

With a large majority, it has felt able to ignore

 

ENGLISH ANGER

 

, appoint unaccountable ministers and ship in Scottish MPs to vote on matters of no concern to their constituents.

 

The Conservative Party under William Hague and Ian Duncan Smith demanded

 

“ENGLISH VOTES FOR ENGLISH LAWS”:

 

-but, fearing confrontation with a vocal minority, it has since fallen silent on this question.

 

[Well it is about TIME that the so-called Conservative Party put COUNTRY -which to remind them is ENGLAND before PARTY. There should be no pretence that there is a United Kingdom [?] in existence.]

 

Tony Blair is in no mood to recognise English sensibilities, and there is no chance that the arrogant Mr Brown would do so if he became

PRIME MINISTER.

 

This may seem amusing to Labour’s tribe of Scots, but it is storing up bitter trouble.

[Well as we have said on a number of occasions over the years the English MPs in Parliament have only themselves to blame for not taking a united stand years ago to right the great injustice which Tony Blair and his Scottish Cabal has inflicted on

The only time they UNITE is when they want a top-up to their already too-generous pensions and at a cost to the ENGLISH taxpayer of each Member of Parliament of

£284,000 a year.

 

(Tony Blair’s pension will be £150,000 a year and his close cronies not far off this figure. They must feel they have truly taken the English for a rough ride and they still rule the roost over the so-called English representatives who have so meekly watched the unjust treatment of their constituents without so much as a whimper.)

 

 

The ENGLISH have become the whipping boys because of the inaction of their so-called English representatives in OUR HOUSE OF COMMONS.

 

At the next General Election choose an ENGLISH representative to redress the great wrong, which has been thrust down our throats at OUR EXPENCE and to OUR DISCOMFORT.

 

The Scots we must admire for standing up for themselves and claiming whatever is on the table and much more and they display an object lesson to the English that the days of ONE for ALL-ALL for ONE are NO MORE.

 

It is TIME the ENGLISH got off their back sides and realised that it was their indifference to what was taking place in front of their eyes which encouraged the likes of Blair and his fellow Scottish cronies and his many liberal compatriots among the English to make the English the ridiculed and downtrodden examples they have become to many north of our border and to many around the world who have found it hard to believe that a once great people are no fiercer than lambs going to the slaughter.

 

Fortunately there does appear an English revival taking place albeit spasmodically and falteringly but there is now a movement abroad to claim their ancient Nationhood.

Is not our COUNTRY now under a Scottish dictator who has little or no love for England as his nine- year rule as shown?

 

 

 

As one of many who saw the days of 1940 and how the spirit of the people of our island gained us the victory because we all knew there was no thought of defeat but the eventual victory, which we knew would come.

 

Then we were a United People with one aim to defeat the enemy who had almost conquered Europe and it was the burning spirit of resistance in our island that lead us and the Free World to Victory.

 

Today as a nation the English people are unsure of their role in the 21^st century because their foreign rulers at home and abroad have done their best to take away their identity and replace it with a vacuous

Britishness cum Europeanism

 

which reminds many today of the dictators of the pre-war years.

 

We Englishmen have allowed our moderation and national characteristic of fair play to colour our judgment in allowing massive immigration to our island home, which is now one of the most congested in the world and the break-down of the very values of which we and our friends worldwide admired.

 

Our reputation in World Affairs has been tainted by an illegal war in Iraq and an impossible and unwarranted interference in Afghanistan, which in the last few days has taken two more of our brave soldiers lives and another wounded.

 

One relief the English can at least claim is that it has been a

 

SCOTTISH

 

Cabal

 

in the main that has brought England to its present low point in

International Affairs

 

and that it was

 

NOT

 

an

 

ENGLISH Prime Minister

 

that led us into an illegal war or signed away no less than 25 times in 2005- in ROME
