As we have explained on a number of occasions in the past the Liberal Party was the ardent supporter of the PR process but has failed dismally to live up to its promises to pursue vigorously the necessary change to bring

to our political system.

A start  in the devolution process could be made to revert to the past and re-instate the office of

Under Secretary of State for England

which was the forerunner to the office of the present

HOME SECRETARY.

was the poet and prose writer Joseph Addison(1672-1719) who contributed articles to his friend  poet prose writer and fellow journalist Jonathan Swift 's (1667-1744)   'The Tatler', in 1709; and Addison sent numerous contributions to this little paper.  Looking at the above description to day in December 2007 is there not still a Curtain dividing Europe and the World at Large. It might not be IRON but it is nevertheless more insidious being the aim of the destruction of the notion of Nationality and the FREE NATION STATE which Britain has  more than most has fought two World Wars to PROTECT.

A TIMELY REMINDER OF THAT TRIBUTE MIGHT BRING THE PEOPLE TO THEIR SENSES TO UNDERSTAND THE DANGER TO THEIR LONG FOUGHT FOR ACCUSTOMED FREEDOM.

In the last few days we hear that Prime Minister Gordon Brown has no liking to traveling to Lisbon is just over a week to join the other EU member-state representatives for the signing of the New EU TREATY. Who can blame him as it will in future years be his name linked to the traitorous act by a Scotsman and a proclaimed Briton in the betrayal of the English people. No man wants such a traitorous infamous deed to stain his once proclaimed INTEGRITY and PATRIOTISM for the rest of his life.

We all now know what another politician from the Conservative Party stated after signing the Maastricht Treaty in 1992 when Douglas Hurd was overheard saying to his companion in TREASON Francis Maud.

"We'd better find out what we have signed."

Gordon Brown had offered to him on attaining the office of prime minister of Britain the power and golden opportunity to change the direction of the European Mammoth for the better. It would have taken great courage to stand alone to make such a stand-it might have lost him his well pensioned job and immense power but his name would have been revered and respected the world over.  He STILL has a chance to grasp this opportunity and we sincerely hope that his weekly visits to the PALACE will be received with SUPPORT for just such a memorable momentous and magnanimous and meritorious ACTION which will SAVE EUROPE and BRITAIN for DEMOCRACY and a TRUE FREE TRADE with the WORLD beyond.

Our advice to Gordon Brown again-is to look at the words of a fellow FABIAN of 60 years ago who knew what the future could hold for EUROPE and the closer union of NATION STATES but retaining their INDEPENDENT SPIRIT.. What we have today in December 2007 is a EUROPE led by the GERMAN/FRANCO bloc that has encouraged the destruction of NATION STATES while at the same time supporting the emergence of NEW NATION STATES  such as KOSOVO a SERB territory for over 100 years and encouraged by GERMANY who financed the Albanian styled liberation fighters and with NATO support gave respectability to their plans in swallowing up as many countries in Europe into a dictatorship of a United States of Europe.

We hear that there will be no great celebration next year the 300th year of the

UNION

of

 Scotland -

England and Wales

in

1707

by Gordon Brown the trailblazer for the

'BRITISHNESS' CAUSE

as HE and particularly the Labour Party has for decades been planning such a devastating blow to the very idea of cementing that relationship because it was alien to their plans to destroy the UNION and also the very idea of

It is next year 700 years since Edward the First of ENGLAND  and PARLIAMENT of ENGLAND began the process which would lead to the planting of the unique seed of

How different it would have been if he had not only sorted out his own backyard in his first hundred days but proved he was his own man of PRINCIPLE and INTEGRITY. He has jeopardised both by failing to give the

PEOPLE a REFERENDUM

on

EUROPE

There are more Eurosceptic MPs in the New Labour Party -possibly 50/60 whereas the Conservative Party the party of protecting the CONSTITUTION could possibly muster only 10. The Liberal /LibDems - are a dead loss!

We have great respect for Frederick Forsyth because he is a committed Eurosceptic but his latest support for giving New Labour MPS a clear run in the 2009/10 General Election if they signed the BETTER OUT PLEDGE has resulted in ONLY 9 Conservative MPS signing. Within the next 6 months we shall be enslaved in Europe if the PROTECTOR of the ENGLISH CONSTITUTION signs the NEW EU TREATY in JUNE 2008. We have heard that though William Hague said that his party would REPEAL the TREATY

"  and that no such undertaking has been received from David Cameron and therefore

THIS COUNTRY

is at WAR with GERMANY"

Over 68 years ago our prime minister at the time the Rt. Hon. Arthur Neville Chamberlain experienced the difficulty of trusting a German Chancellor -his name was Adolf Hitler who  on the 3rd of September, 1939 ignored Neville Chamberlain who had instructed his ambassador in BERLIN to say that unless the German troops withdraw from Poland a state of war would exist between us.

In this country today and throughout the world there are still survivors who on 6th June 1944 - D-Day heard a message from Field Marshall Montgomery and must now wonder why such a great sacrifice was made to protect OUR CONSTITUTION and our UNIQUE PARLIAMENTARY DEMOCRACY of over 1000 years in the making only to be offered on a platter to a German Chancellor in 2008.

On the 23rd April 2008 we celebrate not only England's greatest poet William Shakespeare who's birthday is shared on

St. George's Day

This should be the day that the English people decide

We had such hopes in Gordon Brown but we now see that he has been too long along the side of the departed DEVIL as to have become tainted himself and now he has to face an attack from Blairites who only stood back so long as he protected their jobs and policies.

He can still redeem himself if he acts decisively and gives the

PEOPLE their REFERENDUM

which had been dishonourably - undemocratically and many would say unlawfully withheld.

And do what he said he would do to clean up British politics.

BUT WILL HE DO IT?

Is he heading for a fall as so aptly described in Shakespeare's Henry VIII
