A MESSAGE TO ALL MPS FROM SPEAKOUT CAMPAIGN

Date

Dear                     MP

I understand that you and your fellow MPs have given away powers to Brussels that were never yours to give. Is this true? The Speakout campaign says that more than half our laws are now made by unelected Commissioners in Brussels. How can we remain a self governing, sovereign democracy if our own elected MPs no longer make the nation's laws?

Through Speakout I also learn that Parliament unanimously approved opening our borders to unlimited migration from Eastern Europe. Again , how can we remain an independent, sovereign nation when we no longer control our own borders and who comes into the country.

I believe that we should have a referendum on returning these and other powers to Britain. I am told that 95% of people don't believe that have had enough information about this outrageous give-away of power. Surely you, as my MP, should have made me aware of these fundamental changes to our democracy?

I would like you to back the Speakout campaign, and help Britain return to a self-governing democracy again.

Please reply to me within 14 days to let me know if you will be doing so.

I look forward to hearing from you

Your sincerely.

Why life is worse since we joined the EU

by

Kirsty Walker

[Daily Mail-Political Correspondent-March 20-2007]

LIFE has become worse since in Britain since it joined the European Union, a poll has found.

The British are more pessimistic about the EU than any other major country, with more than a third believing it too bureaucratic.

In a further sign that the British do not want any further integration, the poll found more than half object to plans for an EU ARMY.

And when asked whether life has become better or worse since Britain joined the EU in 1973, 52 per cent of the 1,128 British respondents answered worse.

Even in France, Germany, Italy and Spain- which are seen as far more pro-Brussels -

44%

-felt life had become worse since joining.

The Poll , carried out by Harris International for the Financial Times, makes grim reading for political leaders as the EU approaches its 50th birthday this week.

When asked what factor they most associated with the EU,

38% said 'Bureaucracy'

21% said the 'Single Market'

10% said 'Corruption'

[One must remember that the population at large has been kept in the dark about the true intentions of the so-called 'Common Market'

for the past 50 years

-therefore there has been much awakening over the past year as the leaders are due to meet in Berlin on 25th March-2007 to sign a

Declaration of Berlin

-as a means to resurrect a

New European Constitution

-though no doubt the word Constitution will be absent as not to offend the citizens of the new State.

Neil O'Brien, director of the Open Europe think-tank, said:

'Officials in Brussels shouldn't be surprised that most people now feel they would be better off outside the EU.

THE EU HAS MEDDLED AND INTERFERED TOO MUCH.'

'Worst of all, the EU has shown total; contempt for democracy. Again and again all across Europe have voted against giving more powers to the EU. But the unelected officials who run the EU have just ignored the voters.'
