Tony Blair might save Ken Bigley by apologising for the illegal war on Iraq.

 

And an early withdrawal of troops.

 

Whilst we deplore the acts of the hostage  takers and men who commit acts of evil doing. There is no doubt in most minds that the invasion of Iraq was illegal and therefore the Defenders of Iraqi soil whether nationals or friends are in the right in defending their country.

 

In all wars there are instances of brutal and barbarous behaviour particularly so against an aggressor. The atrocity of September 11 was brought about because the perpetrators felt that it was the only way to seek revenge for what they felt was a rejection of what they considered their just settlement of the Middle East question and in defence of their Values.

 

We Britons in our long history have more than most learned to fight bravely and stolidly for our cause.  It would not be because of weakness that we would listen to a demand for redress for an injustice carried out by our Government. This is the case in regard to the invasion of Iraq, which was not supported by the majority of people in our country.

 

But we will not give way to wicked or unreasonable demands even from those who we have offended.  We are a Brave and Freedom loving People and we do not tolerate injustice either at home or abroad.  We abhor the actions of our Government in so lightly entering into an unjust war and those responsible will soon suffer the sanction of the People.

 

We thank our fellow subjects of the Islamic Faith who know our strengths and weaknesses and who love our country and understand our insular manner and take no offence and have shown in a positive way their concern for their fellow subject Ken Bigley.

 

We hope for the early release of Ken by his abductors, which will enhance further the already firm goodwill of the British people for the Iraqi people and friends.

 

As a political party in existence to secure the Freedom and safeguard of our way-of-life and Values, we can understand that there can be no greater cause than to fight for your Religion and the Values of your society.  We have not yet been tested but we will do what is necessary to protect the country when the time for action arrives whether we are identified as Freedom Fighters or as Terrorists we leave it for others to decide.
