MIGRANTS bring 4p a week in financial benefit to each person living in Britain, a report claims today. The economies they have left behind, however, are receiving a enormous boost as workers send home £10million to their families every day. The analysis by the MigrationWatch, challenges the Government's claims that huge levels of immigration have had an overwhelming positive impact on the economy. The benefit is ,in fact, 'very slight' said the 'thinktank'. it amounts to only £2.10 a year or 4p a day to each citizen -a total of £126million -for each of the 60 million people living in the UK. At the same time, according to the Government's own research, migrants send home up to £4,000,000,000
-every year - money effectively lost to the UK ECONOMY.
Desperate to justify the unprecedented influx of migrants since it came to power, Labour claims they boost the country's gross domestic product by £4billion a year.
