DID YOU WATCH? CHANNEL 4 - 12.10pm -3 July-2007 THE IRAQI COMMISSION The various Iraqi leaders were asked if British Troops should stay in their country and the general view was YES! But on closer examination it appears that we are responsible for everything in Iraq and that even if we stay there for five years the future looks very uncertain to put it mildly. We are of course to give the divided Iraqi people all the assistance possible and hopefully in time something positive might come of it. From what we see the Iraqi representatives have not shown the slightest concern that our brave servicemen and women are dying on their streets. One can hardly blame them as our last Government with many who supported the ILLEGAL WAR are still on their comfortable seats in YOUR COMMONS It is obvious that only when British troops leave Iraqi will the Iraqi people have to face their true situation and decide if it were possible to have a secular constitution which is completely counter to other Islamic countries other than Turkey. Whatever the Iraqi Commission decide to put in their no doubt bulky report you can guess that they will we fear be carried along by the numerous requests of the invited Iraqi politicians and will by their so-called good intentions delay the inevitable break that must be made in order that the Iraqis can move forward with their own answers to their country's plight. The whole matter should be turned over to the Arab/Islamic World for their decision because it is their area of influence. NOT ONE MORE DROP OF BRITISH BLOOD SHOULD BE SHED OVER THE ILLEGAL WAR. Details from petition creator With the signing of the Maastricht Treaty the people of Britain were given DUAL CITIZENSHIP -both EUROPEAN and BRITISH The extra tier of citizenship was thrust upon the people without their consent -and in many cases knowledge. The PEOPLE of GREAT BRITAIN should be allowed the option of opting out of the EUROPEAN CITIZENSHIP if they so wish. The GOVERNMENT will then be able to provide those who have opted out with BRITISH DOCUMENTATION -only such as British (not EU) passports, driving licences and other national documents. EU laws will also NOT APPLY to those who HAVE OPTED OUT OF EUROPEAN CITIZENSHIP
