Tony Blair-The Man Who Never Did-Yet?

 

There can be few politicians who have stayed the course of their political career after receiving such an indictment of Dishonesty, Deceit and gross Dishonourable Conduct from the People of our Island.

 

The refusal of Mr Blair to apologise for his major part in the illegal invasion of a sovereign state and the consequent loss of life of our innocent service personnel and the thousands of casualties and great destruction and breakdown in law and order in Iraq.

 

This must indeed astonish those dangerous Dictators in the world and there will many of them who have been placed under the spotlight because of their repressive regimes, will clap their hands with delight to see the double standards of the Dictator of the oldest, once proudly proclaimed Democracy in the Western World.

 

 

 

Even if we should see a change of Prime Minister in the near future the damage to the reputation of our Country, our Statesmen, will resound around the World and it will take many years before our diplomats will be believed and trusted in their statements and actions in dealing with other Nations.

 

The tragic affect of Tony Blair’s refusal to do the ‘British Thing’ and apologise and resign at the appropriate time-after four Inquires – with a possible further Inquiry to follow, instead of hanging –on and still justifying his dishonourable conduct by changing the justification for the War, will resound around the Globe and destroy the faith built up over hundreds of years of our Country’s tradition of Fair and Honest dealing with the Nations of the World.

 

 

When one considers the way this same Dictator has signed the New European Constitution within a few days of millions of voters making clear their abhorrence of remaining in the European Union we should have been forewarned that this man was not to be trusted to do the decent thing.

 

Over the last few days we have seen a number of eminent politicians of pre-Blair years who have spoken for the majority of the People by their expressing their disgust at the antics of the Blairites and their sycophant supporters.

 

There is already a small band of Labour MP’s who have spoken out but more need to do so without delay because the longer they refuse to make a move the more damage they will see to the standing of our House of Commons in the eyes of those distressed and oppressed peoples in the world who look to us to trust.
