A FORMER Tory tycoon yesterday launched an X-Factor-style political party which he claimed would restore the public's faith in Parliament.
Sir Paul Judge said repeated sleaze scandals and the narrow, career-mindedness of many politicians meant the existing system was 'broken' He is launching a MOVEMENT called JURY TEAM which aims to use the internet to enable the public to select candidates from OUTSIDE the ranks of PARTY POLITICS. THE GROUP, which hopes to be up and running in time to field 72 candidates in the EUROPEAN ELECTIONS in JUNE 2009, will have NO MANIFESTO of SPECIFIC POLICIES. INSTEAD, Sir Paul, who is funding the party from his estimated £30 million fortune, said nominees would have to commit to behaving HONESTLY and SELFLESSLY if ELECTED. The BUSINESSMAN, who was a director general of the CONSERVATIVE PARTY under JOHN MAJOR and who launched his new party's website yesterday, said any elected candidates would sit as INDEPENDENTS and would NOT BE TOLD HOW TO VOTE by PARTY WHIPS. * * [With so many potential voters sickened by the majority of so-called representatives in Parliament it will now be possible for those who gave up voting years ago to now have a voice in THEIR HOUSE OF COMMONS which by a majority sold our unique parliamentary democracy and Constitution to a Foreign Power without giving the opportunity of the PEOPLE to declare their intention on such a major constitutional issue in a REFERENDUM The cruel irony of the situation is that it could be as usual TOO LITTLE! TOO LATE! as the Parliament is to all intents and purposes defunct as the majority of traitors in the once hallowed Chamber have already sold YOUR BIRTHRIGHT to a FOREIGN POWER. ONLY an un-ratified LISBON TREATY will give yet another opportunity for THE PEOPLE to take back THEIR FREEDOM-THEIR CONSTITUTION and THEIR COUNTRY.] Over many years we have called for retired Admirals -Marshals of the Royal Air Force or from the top brass of the Army and Captains of Industry and indeed millionaires to take up the banner of LIBERTY to save our country, but all we had was SILENCE! Now when our traitorous politicians of ALL parties have already achieved their evil deeds we now have a DELIVERER of sorts. As a past member of the CONSERVATIVE PARTY we would have thought that Mr Judge would have been the ideal person to launch a REAL CONSERVATIVE PARTY but as he already knows the EU will only tolerate those parties which fit their evil purpose. Nevertheless, we wish 'Juryteam' the best of luck -and they will need it! But there is little or no time left for TALK of which we have witnessed a great surfeit over the past 36 years and it is still flooding out. But ACTION seems not to be an ENGLISH trait -even when their LIBERTY and CONSTITUTION and COUNTRY are taken from them. * *
