One of the most in - depth dramas of the failure of the Bush regime to support the FBI in their investigation which if it had not been deliberately sabotaged could well have prevented the devastation of the thousands who perished in the Twin Towers on 9/11.
The write up to the 2-part drama was as follows:
‘Based on official documentation and first-hand accounts, this huge, two-part U.S dramatisation of events leading up the 9/11 atrocities seeks to shed light on the relationship between America and Al Qaeda in the years before the day that was to change the WORLD.
In 1993, Islamist terrorists provided a warning of horrors to come, when the World Trade Centre was bombed for the first time.’
Tonight’s episode - (Sunday 10th September-2006.), starring Harry Keitel and Donnie Wahiberg [both brilliant performances -as were the rest of the team], follows the FBI as they painstakingly follow the trail of evidence that will help them indemnify the ENEMY [Despite the uncooperative manner of the CIA]
Though no preview DVD was forthcoming the press information suggests that this will be fascinating and chilling insight into a
ACT of TERROR
-that was it seems, all too predictable. Concludes tomorrow-Monday September 11 -2006
After watching the gripping performances of the drama of events it left us with the thought that the
PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
-has a lot of explaining to do to the American people who were betrayed as were the English Scottish and Welsh People by their dictator Tony Blair.
If this is not a clear case against the PRESIDENT for
THEN WHAT IS?
The scandals which have come to light on both sides of the pond show how the people in both countries that it isn’t enough to have a CONSTITUTION
written or unwritten but that the Intelligence Services should NOT be without an
Independent Senate or in our case a Select Parliamentary Committee
to prevent private ambition and interests deciding the question of
WAR and PEACE.
We have written elsewhere of the Presidents of the USA who were honourable and truthful and did put their love for their country as a duty from which no personal gain was expected.
AS we are told that George Bush has relied on support from the
- we wonder how they now feel having put their trust and support to an invader of a sovereign country which offered no threat to his country and can now see how his illegal policy has created a greater ENEMY than which they first faced.
The American people know what happens when their Government goes to war for the wrong reasons and then will not budge but believes that greater resources are the way to victory. Vietnam showed the folly of this reasoning.
America and Britain need to get moderate Muslims on side and they can ONLY do this if they withdraw their troops from Iraq and Afghanistan in months not years. And then with slowly the anger of the Islamic World abating – hopefully leading to a climate of compromise which might then lead to the settlement of the Israeli/Palestine Question. Then the battle between the West and East of the present hard-core no-deal opponents of both sides can be identified and dealt with without enlarging the CONFLICT.
It is now certain that Tony Blair will no longer delay his departure and the people of America –the majority now against the escapades in the Middle East will no doubt see the end of their President and his clan in next year’s election.
BUT as a great WAR-TIME Prime Minister
Winston Churchchill commented:
It is better to:
JAW-JAW than WAR-WAR.
While we are on the subject of WAR we wish to remind our viewers that the
