CHURCHILL'S WAR
by MAX HASTINGS
An article appearing in the Daily Mail on Saturday August 15-2009
His foibles, his follies, his catastrophic misjudgments... the definitive portrait of Britain's flawed yet awe-inspiring saviour. We add our contribution as to Winston's passionate defence of HIS COUNTRY and HIS QUEEN and our once world acclaimed INHERTANCE
The following is an extract from Randolph S Churchill's WINSTON CHURCHILL VOL II Young Statesman It is part of a letter that Winston Churchill wrote to his wife Clementine on the 28th July ,1914 only a few weeks before the outbreak of the GREAT WAR. As First Lord of the Admiralty he had a great responsibility to ensure that the Fleet was ready for immediate action on the outbreak of the war. the extract shows much of the man as of the warrior and patriot of his country. 'We are putting the whole Navy into fighting trim (bar the reserve) And all seems quite quite sound & thorough. The sailors are thrilled and confident. Every supply is up to the prescribed standard. Everything is ready as it has never been before. And we are awake to the tips of our fingers. But war is the Unknown & the Unexpected God guard us and our long accumulated inheritance. You know how willingly & proudly I wd risk - or give- if need be - my period of existence to keep this country great & famous & prosperous & free. But the problems are vy difficult....' *
WE ARE BACK AT THE BEGINNING! USA 1782 - ENGLAND 2009 THE 'RIGHTS AND LIBERTIES OF ENGLISHMEN'
Looking again at his words on the eve of the nation's greatest defeat of the ideals so graphically called to mind in the above letter, We and no doubt many patriotic English and others that love England will wonder how it came about that so much could have changed in almost a century to bring our once great nation-the birth of parliamentary democracy and a beacon of FREEDOM throughout the world to being reduced to a piece of land on a map that does not even mention its name and in which the once free people are now no better than slaves. In 1953 at the Mansion House in London Winston Churchill gave a speech worthy of his fame as a man who loved HIS COUNTRY-ITS HISTORY-ITS REPUTATION and conscience of what could happen if as a great parliamentary of the 18 th century Edmund Burke stated:
‘Our political system is placed in a just correspondence and symmetry with the order of the world and with the mode of existence decreed to a permanent body composed of transitory parts; wherein, by the disposition of a stupendous wisdom, moulding together the great mysterious incorporation of the human race, the whole, at one time, is never old, or middle-aged, or young, but in a condition of unchangeable constancy moves on through the varied tenour of perpetual decay, fall, renovation, and progression. Thus, in preserving that method of nature in the conduct of the State, in what we improve we are never wholly new; in what we retain, we are never wholly obsolete.'
In a speech in the House of Commons on the 7th May, 1782 one of our greatest parliamentarians of the day Edmund Burke spoke of the essentials of our then Unique English Constitution.
‘ The House of Commons… undoubtedly is no representative of the people, as a collection of individuals. Nobody pretends it; nobody can justify such an assertion. When we come to examine into this claim of right, founded on the right of self-government in each individual, you find the thing demanded infinitively short of the principle of the demand.
What! One-third only of the legislature, and of the government no share at all? What sort of treaty of partition is this for those who have an inherent right to the whole? Give them all they ask, and your grant is still a cheat; for how comes only a third to be their younger children’s fortune in the settlement? How come they neither to have choice of kings, or lords, or judges, or generals, or justices of the peace?
Why, what have you to answer in favour of the prior rights of the crown and peerage but this – our constitution is a prescriptive constitution; it is a constitution whose sole authority is that it has existed time out of mind.
It is settled in these two portions against one, legislatively; and in the whole of the of the judicature, the whole of the federal capacity, of the executive, the prudential and the financial administration, in one alone.
Nor was your House of Lords and the prerogatives of the crown settled on any adjudication in favour of natural rights, for they could never be so portioned. Your king, your lords, your judges, your juries, grand and little, are all prescriptive; and what proves it is, the disputes not yet concluded, and never near becoming so, when any of them first originated.
Prescription is the most solid of all titles, not only to property, to government. They harmonize with each other, and give mutual aid to one another. It is accompanied with another ground of authority in the constitution of the human mind, presumption. It is a presumption in favour of any settled scheme of government against any untried project that a nation has long existed and flourished under it.
It is a better presumption even of the choice of a nation, far better than any sudden and temporary arrangement by actual election. Because a nation is not an idea only of local extent and individual momentary aggregation, but it is an idea of continuity, which extends in time as well as in numbers and in space.
And this is a choice not of a day, or one set of people, not a tumultary and giddy choice; it is the deliberate election of ages and of generations; it is a constitution made by what is ten thousand times better than choice, it is made by the peculiar circumstances, occasions, tempers, dispositions, and moral, civil, and social habitudes of the people, which disclose themselves only in a long sense of time.
It is a vestment, which accommodates itself to the body. Nor is prescription of government formed upon blind unmeaning prejudices- for a man is a most unwise and a most wise being. The individual is foolish. The multitude, for the moment, is foolish when they act without deliberation; but the species is wise, and when time is given to it, as a species, it almost always acts right. . .
[That's WHY you were NOT offered A REFERENDUM in 2008 before the majority of YOUR so-called representatives and QUEEN traitorously SOLD YOUR FREEDOM-YOUR CONSTITUTION and YOUR COUNTRY to a FOREIGN POWER. For the past 12 years we have pleaded for the ENGLISH PEOPLE to WAKE UP! THEY DIDN'T and unless there is a last minute REVOLUTION our JUST CAUSE is LOST]
It suggests melancholy reflections, in consequence of the strange course we have long held, that we are now no longer quarrelling about the character, or about the conduct of men, or the tenor of measures; but we are grown out of humour with the English constitution itself; this is become the object of the animosity of Englishmen. This constitution in former days used to be the admiration and envy of the world; it was a pattern of politicians; the theme of the eloquent; the meditation of the philosopher in every part of the world.
As to Englishmen, it was their pride, their consolation. By it they lived, for it they were ready to die. Its defects, if it had any, were partly covered by partiality, and partly borne by prudence. Now all its excellences are forgot, its faults are now forcibly dragged into day, exaggerated by every artifice of representation. It is despised and rejected of men; and every device and invention of ingenuity, or idleness, set up in opposition or in preference to it. It is to this humour, and it is to the measures growing out of it, that I set myself (I hope not alone) in the most determined opposition.
Never before did we at any time in this country meet upon the theory of our frame of government, to sit in judgement on the constitution of our country, to call it as a delinquent before us, and to accuse it of every defect and every vice To see whether it, an object of veneration, even of our adoration, did or did not accord with the preconceived scheme in the minds of certain gentlemen.
Cast your eyes on the journals of Parliament. It is for fear of losing inestimable treasure we have that I do not venture to game it out of my hands for the vain hope of improving it. I look with filial reverence on the constitution of my country, and never will cut it in pieces, and put it into the kettle of any magician, in order to boil it, with the puddle of their compounds, into youth and vigour. On the contrary, I will drive away such pretenders; I will nurse its venerable age, and with lenient arts extend a parent’s breath.’

The above speech was made at a time of crisis in our history when a Revolutionary war raged in America for their ‘rights of Englishmen’. In that year the war had practically ended. For a time King George 111 stubbornly refused to acknowledge defeat .
But the royal forces soon exercised no authority whatever beyond the sound of the garrison bugles in one city, New York-for during 1782 the southern ports were all abandoned. The treaty ending the war was signed in 1783-Great Britain made generous terms, which resulted in the healing of the wounds of the conflict, and made possible the maintenance of close cordial relations between our nations except for short periods in the 19th century.
* * * In 2009 a great upheaval is taking place in the United States which many people in England-if I dare mention that word are unaware of , is the traumatic events taking place which have everything to do with the events of over 200 years ago. At that time the American colonists were not so happy with the Bank of England which had insisted that the colonists could not have their own interest free currency and must deal with the Rothchild Bank of England that became an important factor in the final break between the Englishmen in the USA and their King in London. Across the pond there now rages a bitter battle with the International bankers as many Americans now want the FEDERAL RESERVE BANK to be dismantled from its present PRIVATE CORPORATION into an accountable bank of the people of the United States of America. On our front page you are able to see the latest DEBT FIGURES for the U. S . and BRITAIN or more specifically ENGLAND which are rising rapidly by the second and as it continues it will mean that YOUR CHILDREN and your CHILDREN'S CHILDREN will possibly NEVER CLEAR THE DEBT. What is taking place in the once LAND OF THE FREE will make you wonder if the world is going MAD. Well! In America the people under the so-called PATRIOT ACT are being molested by not only members of their own ARMY and paramilitary units but also by UN and other foreign troops which are now in their country. So you don't believe it? Well a visit to the following websites will open your eyes as it opened ours only a few month's ago. One persistent call from the American colonists was their right as Englishmen for the 'Rights and Liberties of Englishmen' which they later made the foundation of the Declaration of Independence and the American Constitution. Today in America they have almost lost THEIR CONSTITUTION to the INTERNATIONAL BANKERS who now RULE in the USA and to make matters even worse there is an organisation which has more power than the President or CONGRESS - it is called FEMA- it has its own CONCENTRATION CAMPS some with facilities to gas tens of thousands of resisting Americans who will not toe the line under the NEW WORLD ORDER and later WORLD GOVERNMENT. If the HOME of the LAND of the FREE should be DESTROYED then there will be NO POWER to STOP the inevitable TAKE-OVER of the WORLD by the ELITE who wish to reduce the world's population by at least 80%.
YOU COULD BE PART OF THAT FIGURE IF YOU
DON'T PULL OUT YOUR FINGER AND DO SOMETHING
BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE TO DO ANYTHING?
It
is as well to remember the following
above warning which will no doubt be only a
question of TIME of who will be first and
who will be last
THE
CHOICE WILL NOT BE YOURS!!

But I digress. The problem here is, and remains, the illegal and unwanted mass immigration of one group into the land; and the forcible ethnic cleansing by that group of the previous occupiers of that land. There are supposed to be all kinds of international laws, Geneva Conventions, etc to prevent this sort of thing (ironically enough, pushed through under Jewish pressure after the horrors of the Second World War), but Israel and its powerful backers somehow always find a way round these, thanks to unconditional US backing. There is no reason why the Palestinians, and their supporters worldwide, should accept this injustice. For the Palestinians to settle in another Arab country would be tantamount to acceptance, which is why it has not and will not happen.
One or two other issues: the Balfour Declaration - and why should a British government have the right to decide the future of a land thousands of miles away? - was made at a stage of World War One during which a British defeat appeared likely. The Declaration was made as part of a letter to the Jewish financier Lord Rothschild, in return for desperately-needed new lines of credit to support the British military. It was a grubby little backstreet deal, over an issue upon which the British had no right to deal....'
