How our liberties
have been destroyed.
Since Labour was elected 12
years ago, a massive and frightening array of powers have
been introduced which curtail Britain's long-fought-for
commitment to the
FREEDOM OF THE INDIVIDUAL
There are
56 such
freedom-destroying powers,
according to the
Convention on Modern
Liberty
They range from the
shameful decision to ban inconvenient but peaceful protests
in the vicinity of Parliament to the storage by the police
of DNA samples taken from entirely innocent people.
Town hall Stasi routinely
deploy anti -terrorist powers to snoop on dog foulers and
families suspected of cheating school catchment area rules.
Low-ranking officials have
access to the chilling Contact Point database containing the
sensitive personal details of every child in England. A
giant NHS database will allow confidential patient records
to be accessed by health workers across the land.
THE LIST IS TERRIFYING
But still ministers are not
satisfied they have sufficient powers to
PRY INTO EVERY ASPECT OF
OUR LIVES.
The Home Office will
shortly announce details of a new
Big Brother
' Intercept Modernisation
Programme'
which will store details
of every phone call and internet visit.
The Coroners and Justice
Bill
will allow the
STATE
to order inquests
involving matters of
NATIONAL SECURITY
to be held in secret if the
details prove embarrassing to ministers. This means it
will be possible to die in modern, 'civilised'Britain
WITHOUT ANYONE-NOT LEAST
RELATIVES-KNOWING HOW AND WHY.
And , as we reveal today,
there will soon be compulsory CCTV cameras tracking people
as they shop in supermarkets for a bottle of wine.
Without fanfare, ministers
have slipped powers into the
POLICING and CRIME BILL
for councils to force any
premises selling alcohol to install the cameras and hand
over the relevant footage to the police.
BUT IF PASSED
it will mean there is
virtually no aspect of public life
NOT UNDER SURVEILLANCE
Police already have 4.2
million cameras trained on the street, number plate
recognition systems watching our roads and are even , as we
revealed earlier this week, insisting drinkers should be
spied upon with CCTV
IN THEIR LOCAL PUB
Save for places of worship,
NOWHERE IS SACRED OR
PRIVATE.
Everyone is a potential
suspect
This Labour Government, in
ways that should shock its socialist forebears, is
systematically acquiring the tools of a
TOTALITARIAN STATE
in a way not even
George Orwell could have predicted.
The price we are paying
in the
LOSS OF INDIVIDUAL
FREEDOMS
IS
AWESOME.
But so is the
£34,000,000,000
COST to the TAXPAYER
of running the likes of
Contact Point
and the
ID CARDS DATABASE
over the next decade according to the
CONVENTION on MODERN LIBERTY.
Yet are the
WATCHERS
prepared to be
watched themselves to check they are not abusing the
pervasive powers which they have amassed?
OF COURSE NOT.
In a display of
dizzying hypocrisy, ministers this week introduced a law
which makes it a criminal offence, punishable by ten
years in prison, to take a picture of a police officer.
[Well the only way to get a bad law taken off the Statute
Book is to see that it is strictly observed. We all know
there are over 100,000 convicted criminals who should be in
prison but there has been no space for them. The only way to
stop this nonsense DEAD is for there to be a nation-wide

FRIENDLY FELLOW CITIZEN AND POLICE OFFICER DAY
Of
course it will be necessary to have a
CAMPAIGN FUND
and LEGAL TEAM
in place to make
the impact and success of the project which we can call
FREEDOM DAY.
That should
shake the buggers up as Winston Churchill said to a
packed House of Commons in the Gathering Storm years
before the Second World War
WE
NEED TO SHAKE THEM UP AGAIN IN 2009
and let them know that we are the MASTERS and they are the
SERVANTS.
But regrettably over the past decades the politicians have
changed the ranking which the Glorious Revolution of 1688
issued in the TRUSTEE conception of government, expounded in
the pages of Locke which dominated political thought during
the eighteenth century. Since that time PARLIAMENT became
TRUSTEE by the PUBLIC of its Rights and Liberties [THAT
IS YOU!] So we have to ask WHY has the the House of
Commons betrayed that sacred MANDATE? The revolution
was fought against an absolute sovereign in the seventeenth
century and the PEOPLE need to fight against an absolute
PARLIAMENT in 2009. the majority of lackies in YOUR
PARLIAMENT have forgotten their place in the CONSTITUTION
and it is time we made a stand in a Cromwellian mode and
made them leave the Commons with all due haste.
The worm need to turn and
quickly because time is running out and soon no protest
will be permitted]

Comment:
The Press will be hampered in reporting
legitimate rallies at which police are present.
Peaceful demonstrators will be stopped from taking their own
record of events and tourists who dare to take a to take a
picture of the Pc guarding Big Ben could quickly find
themselves behind bars.
Of course, the Government defends this, and
the many other assaults on
LIBERTY
since 1997, by pointing to the increased
threat Britain faces from serious crime and terrorism.
[Well as we have said so many times over the
past ten years the New Labour strategy was to direct its
polices in order to undermine the security on the streets
and in the country at large. It took away the local
Bobbie -on -the -Beat - the fellow citizen respected by the
local community and a gatherer of local intelligence of crime
and replaced him with a CCTV camera. As for the terrorism
threat this was accomplished by an illegal war against a
sovereign nation state no threat to us but it gave the
Government the very weapon in order to suppress opinion and
forbid protest when ever they could. And where were the
so-called OPPOSITION parties while all this was going on?
Well good old Dave said he was happy to go along with New
Labour and we now see how well he did in protecting our
'Rights and Liberties of Englishmen.'

Please join us in

The aim of the Convention
on Modern Liberty is to bring together a wide and growing
range of concerns about the state of fundamental rights and
freedoms in this country and publicise the work of the many
individuals, groups and organisations deeply involved with
them from across the political spectrum. We hope this will
generate a wider release of energy among the public that may
assist the growth of a movement to take back what has been
lost and to help shape a Modern Liberty capable of securing
individual and collective freedom at a time of profound
uncertainty and change.
The Convention will be a
powerful public display of concern. It will be taking place
both in London and in meetings in the regions and nations of
the UK. We are working out how to let people and meetings
feed in their questions and compare their responses,
feedback and proposals for action.
We are an ad hoc alliance
not an organisation. The Convention has been built up with
little resources and we are aware that others should be
included. We will be as inclusive as possible in what we do.
We are keen to link up with all other relevant discussions
and publicise them. If you work for an organisation that
shares our aims and would like to be added to our list of
partners we encourage you to get in contact with us to
discuss how we can work together. There are opportunities to
be involved in supporting regional and local meetings,
helping to run sessions, producing Convention videos and in
many other different ways. We are very interested to hear
any ideas you may have on the project and how you would like
to see it grow.
We hope that everyone who
wants to put their name to an expression of our shared
concern whether they can make the day itself or not, will be
able to do so.

[We notice that two of the
speakers at the London meeeting on 28th February are in
different camps over the EUROPIAN UNION COLLECTIVE. We have
Helena Kennedy QC who has first hand experience of the dirty
tricks within the EU and Nick Clegg MP who led his party to
adore the EU and of course supported the destruction of a
nation state of 1500 years in the making. What many
fail to realise is that the whole purpose of the LABOUR and
LIBERAL and majority in the Conservative PARTIES was to
ensure that the English people were made obedient in order
that they became accustomed to what was already in place in
the UNITED STATES of EUROPE. One cannot
talk about LIBERTY at HOME and have a blank mind when it
concerns the EU. In February 2009 England no
longer exists as a nation state and should the LISBON TREATY
be ratified by ALL member states by the year's end it will truely be the END OF LIBERTY as an ENGLISHMAN would consider
it as the EU as every trueful person will agree is NOT A
DEMOCRACY and is indeed a TOTALITARIAN STATE.
Fighting for FREEDOM in ENGLAND at this late stage will
certainly make many pro-EU enthusiasts to reconsider their
opinion as what is the point of opening such a DEBATE when
in a matter of months the whole matter will be smothered by
the enthusiastic adherents of the New World Order within the
EU COLLECTIVE. If anyone could make sense of the whole
matter it is Tony Benn who is very clear WHAT THE EVIL EU IS
ALL ABOUT!. FIGHT for LIBERTY! but remember that many
who now wish to protect THEIR LIBERTY have over decades been
responsible for losing that very LIBERTY which they are now
endeavouring to DEFEND.

eventual collapse with the emergence of FREE NATION STATES

would ask is why hasn't the Government made known to the
General Public the traitorour activities going back 60 years
of Edward Heath who admitted before he died in 2005 that he
had
misled the people as to
the true intention of the EEC/EU/UNITED STATES OF EUROPE.
Simple because it would have brought the Government down and
made any chances of passing the the final EU treaty through
the House of Commons IMPOSSIBLE. There is a perfect example
of a Government covering up the identity of a traitor in
order to turn to their advantage. The the film with Michael
Cain 'WHISTLEBLOWER' which no doubt is true to fact as
little is hidden of what transpires within the depths of the
SECURITY SERVICES MI5 and MI6.]

RABID DOGS ATTACK BYSTANDER
On the same day the
Daily Mail
had an article
by Nickolas Blincoe -crime novelist of
Waking the Dead
who suffered a horrific attack by teenage misfits who knew
they had nothing to fear from the
so-called Justice System.
Because there was no CCTV cameras -it appears it was all his
fault. His problem was fourfold.
1. The so -called punishment system strikes
no fear into the sneering teenage monsters. They can see
that the worst that will happen to them is that they may
have to take cover for a short while and ask mummy to
pretend that she has learned her lesson-for NOW!.
2. He was most unfortunate because he did not
have a known regular Bobbie-on -the-Beat who would have
known about the teenage misfits and would have if the above
lunatic Justice System had been FIT FOR PURPOSE would
have had them locked away and thrown away the key some time
ago.
3. Unless there is a Bobbie -on-the-Beat the
householder has no-one who they trust to protect their homes
and their lives. Only regular known local
intelligence kept up to date by an officer on his local
round can nip the trouble in the bud and make the lives of
his fellow citizens worth living.
4. The present
routine of dealing with the trouble makers is making a
mockery out of a so-called Justice System. The new
Lord Chief Justice who recently said that there needs to be
much sterner punishment for crime . What better place to
start than with the young thugs who under the present system
will be before the Lord Chief Justice in their hundreds over
the next few years if something is not done to change the
attitudes of the sneering thugs and
INSTILL
FEAR and RIGHT PUNISHMENT.

WHAT WENT WRONG?
At the turn of the
20th century a brief document, of a single page -The
Introduction to the Code of Regulations for Public
Elementary Schools -which admirably explains the
nature of the change. It was the work of the
parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Education
(Sir William Anson, the Warden of All Souls College
,Oxford), and the Secretary ,Sir Robert Morant -men
who knew the best elements in the public schools and
the old universities, and knew. too, the lofty
conceptions of education to be found in the Old
Greek philosophers. It sets out that the
purpose of the Public Elementary School " is to form
and strengthen the character as well as to develope
the intelligence" that " teachers can do
much to lay the FOUNDATIONS of CONDUCT"; that "the
DISCIPLINE of the SCHOOL can IMPLANT habits of
INDUSTRY -SELF-CONTROL and perseverance"; that "the
corporate life of the school, especially in the
playgound, should develope FAIR PLAY and LOYALTY";
and that in all its work and all its efforts the
school should enlist the CO-OPERATION of PARENTS and
the HOME. [ERNEST

In the late 19th century
historian G.M TREVELYAN stated:
Education... has
produced a vast population able to read but unable to
distinguish what is worth reading.[English Social
History,Ch.18]
Since 1997 New Labour has
destroyed the educational system and turned it into a STATE
propaganda machine and meddling where it had no business to
go. In the 19th century many personages such as
Priestly, Godwin, and Herbert Spenser, warned of the
dangers. It is a fine theme of a fine chapter entitled
"Decay of the Family," in C.H.Pearson's book on National
Life and Character. "Will the family continue to be a
responsible moral institution" and continues about the
dangers of a more intrusive STATE and in February 2009 we
all know what they meant and the dangers on our streets from
young thugs whose only thrill in life is to attempt to kick
a defenceless citizen to DEATH..
