[So it has happened as many have expected after the mute response of their NATO allies by having to reinforce their troops in Afghanistan under their own military command.  But in this particular instance we can understand the attitude of those who don't want to be involved.  It started out with such high hopes of European co-operation but ended as it was expected to do -AND WHO CAN BLAME THEM?    The U. S . is spending billion of dollars in reconstruction and private security guards and the only beneficiaries are those who have shares in the Halliburton and other suppliers WHO HAVE NEVER HAD IT SO GOOD.]

British troops in Afghanistan could fall under U.S. command when the Pentagon sends an extra 7000, troops there later this year.

A senior White House official said last night that the development would lead to 'the re Americanisation' of the of the war and a reduced role for NATO.

The CIA has been penetrated by NAZI agents since the end of the Second War has been instrumental in   encouraging a European Union and at the same time drive her close ally  of  TWO WORLD WARS -ENGLAND into the same basket case monster and failing to realise that the hard-line EUROPEANS would ditch the U.S. once they had received the wonderful hand-outs which enabled the EU to expand their own EU ARMY which at present includes the biggest Army in Europe of GERMANY with over 300,000  service personnel.  Because of the closed political cabal in Westminster which has been co-operating for the past forty years to destroy a FREE INDEPENDENT NATION STATE of ENGLAND of 1400 years in the making in order that it can become obscure  PROVINCES of a corrupt collectivist sovietised police state calling itself a UNITED STATES of EUROPE.  The Americans sowed the seed of our demise with the connivance of their Secretary of State George Kennon  after the SECOND WORLD WAR and other administrators  SINCE.]

Washington officials said the deployment would bring the number of U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan up to 40,000 and make up for the shortfall in contribution from NATO.

George Bush is expected to make an announcement on the proposed extra troops later this month.

News of the deployment came as the latest British soldier to be killed in Afghanistan was named.

Trooper Ratu Babakobau, 29, from Fiji, who was in Prince Harry's Household Cavalry regiment, was the 95th British soldier to have died in Afghanistan since the Taliban was overthrown in 2001.

Three others were injured when their vehicle hit a landmine in Afghanistan on Friday.

[The lesson of the Russian occupation of Afghanistan and its tragic consequences, even with an army of over 110,000 should have brought home to the present incumbents the waste of life and resources which would result in fighting such a resourceful enemy in it's own terrain. The days of the British empire with their long history of defeat at the hands of the Afghans should have been a lesson which they should have heeded. Many brave regiments were lost in the countless valleys and ravines in that inhospitable country.  At first we were told that NOT A SHOT WOULD BE FIRED.  Then we were told that we were there primarily to destroy the POPPY CROP  because our streets were swamped by drugs.  Today the crop is  thriving better than ever.  AS with much which is so dire in our country one only has to look at the pathetic political line-up of the idiots who are responsible for the MESS WE ARE IN to realise that GORDON BROWN might just as well as looked to outer space to find the right species to put right the MISTAKES of the PAST 11 YEARS.  We are at a loss to understand how many of the so-called Ministers of the Crown were selected in the first place because they look useless and unimpressive  for starters.  Some may have high intellectual application but it does not show by the results which has seen the NEW LABOUR PARTY with the worst election results for over 40 years.  Their greatest mistake was to look for any means whatsoever to drain the pockets of the electorate while at the same time many MPs  had a wonderful time with enriching their families some with gross NEPOTISM in employing at least four members of their family in their private  TROUGH of PLENTY in WESTMINSTER.

We now learn DT- May 6-2008 that MPs are looking to increase their yearly EXPENCE ALLOWANCE by £15,000. No doubt because many of them have been caught out cheating the system and have now to take more care in the future. They must curse themselves for passing the FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT and no doubt if they ever find the opportunity it will be one Bill which they will delight in REPEALING. There is always a possibility that once the TREATY of TREASON has been finally ratified by THE QUEEN that this piece of legislation will be the FIRST to be enacted with BRUSSELS APPROVAL who are in constant denial about the MASSIVE CORRUPTION within the EU for the past  forty years.]

The U.S. has been pushing hard for NATO countries to provide more troops and equipment to Afghanistan but White House sources say that the response has been 'tepid'.

Some of the new troops will be stationed in the southern provinces along the border with Pakistan where the British soldiers are concentrated.

At this point the British soldiers are under Nato command but as the  U.S. presence dramatically increases the Pentagon is likely to insist that its officers have full control.

That would mean British officers would have to take orders from American counter-parts and clear all operations with a U.S. commander.

[It is so ironic that at a time when the U.S. are wasting billions on two wars that we should all learn that their greedy banking system  which has also infected our own has  grievously soiled its world-wide reputation with its sub-prime mortgages which must have been obvious to all concerned that the day of great reckoning would soon dawn with its tragic consequences for the economy of the Western World particularly.  In both cases it is the TAX PAYER who will have TO PAY THE BILL.  What is a surprise is that the American renown for vigorously investigating corruption and malpractice in its banking and business sector was not alert to the SUB-PRIME CON.  Again in both cases the Governments involved were spending vast sums on matters which had been undertaken without adequate investigation and in fact a COVER-UP would be an appropriate description for what has transpired and those responsible are in the main still IN PLACE.  This state of affairs does not look out of place in a TOTALITARIAN STATE but in the foremost DEMOCRACIES in the WORLD - IT STINKS!]
